    Himawari Japanese School in the Gold Coast is offering both language classes and cultural classes for the wider community, every Saturday at Robina State High School. Behind the school's establishment, there was a strong will of parents not to lose a place for their children to learn Japanese. We spoke to Akino Nourdine and Teiko Fujita from the school. - 創立７年目を迎えたゴールドコーストのひまわり日本語学校。学校創立の背景には、子どもたちが日本語を学ぶ場所をなくしたくない、という保護者の強い思いがありました。運営代表のヌディーン暁乃さんと、文化授業のコーディネートなどを担当する藤田禎子さんにお話を聞きました。
