Oh I love this book, their chemistry is off the chart. I can’t wait for book 2. Isabelle and Logan did an excellent job at Narrating

Cliffhanger ending

This is a new author for me. I did enjoy the story. The male has some narcissistic moments that I would like to high five his face for. It's like he is actually a decent guy who respects his wife and doesn't let others disrespect her, but has these moments where he thinks he needs to be an alpha-hole just for the sake of being an alpha-hole. The narrators did a great job. I don't want to give spoilers for the book. I will say the storyline is intriguing enough that I would like to listen to the next book. It does end on a cliffhanger. Unfortunately, the next book is not available on audio yet.

Dying for more!!

“People will treat you the way you let them.”

This was a fun read about … loyalty … and shifting loyalties. It made me think at times and was entertaining. Based on this book, I’d absolutely read more from this author—I’m glad I gave this one a chance.

Love Luciana

Ella's books are always so yummy. A beautiful, arranged marriage, dark, twist and turns, Alpha-hole, bully, Mafia and well written story. Could not stop until I was finished.

The Cold Truth of Family and Love:

The mob world is a cut-throat place; literally. We all know that. Poor Lou never wanted to be apart of a family like this, trapped, but in the dark about their dealing. A locked away gangster princess until her family sells her to another mob boss in order to make an alliance. Or so they say. Lou is caught between surviving her new rough husband and spying on him for her family when she is as innocent as a lamb. And soon, her anxiety, heart, and loyalty are tearing her apart.
Maybe this arranged marriage is more than she could have expected…
This story goes into dark places and that didn’t surprise me since it’s about gangsters. But I thought some of the scenes were a bit intense. That’s me personally. The romance is dark at times. And this ending! Phew! It has me wanting more for sure, but I am afraid for our girl. And lovers.
The writing is well done and pacing good. It flew by when I listened to it, which is high praise.
Miss Turner had a lovely intonation to her voice. A little breathy, but fit the innocence and exploration of the character well, especially during the intimate scenes.
Mr. Anare is my favorite male narrator. This is the 11th book I’ve listened of his (I look for books where he is narrating,) and man! He played the ruthless Saint well! The range of his voices and personas is beyond enthralling.

Intriguing Mafia Romance! Great Story & Listen🎧

This is a fantastic dark mafia romance, the story is original with interesting storylines that captivated my attention through the entire book. Luciana’s parents died in a car accident when she when she was young and she went to live with her uncle, aunt and cousins, the Torrio crime family. Except for her aunt, they all treated her well, and she is working as a paralegal in the family’s law firm and has a dream of becoming a lawyer herself. But her uncle has other plans with her, an arranged marriage with Romero Billotti, a power play but no ordinary power play. They want her on the inside to gain information to take him down. She had no choice, and she was eager to please her family, especially her aunt who never took a liking to her. Her uncle and cousins kept her sheltered from the mafia life, so she is at a disadvantage from the start. Romero grew up in the mafia world, his father was a monster, and he is just as ruthless, but he did not want to just takeover his empire, he wanted to build his own. And that is exactly what he is doing, marrying Luciana is just a power play, and it does not hurt that she is gorgeous. He is rough with her at first, but he soon realizes she is not as he assumed. When things go sideways in his business, he and his brother suspect there is a mole in his organization. Romero does not tolerate moles, so when he finds out who the mole is all he will deal with it the Romero way. You will find drama, twists, thrilling suspense, and steamy romance in this cleverly plotted story. Ella Jade, thank you for this great story and wild ride. 

🎧📚🎧And for the terrific narration, Isabelle Turner and Logan Anare did an amazing job bringing these characters and story to life. They understood their characters well and played their roles convincingly. Anare nailed it as Romero, the bossy alpha-hole and Turner’s Luciana was spot on, grasping her naivety, insecurities, as well as her strength. They set the perfect tone for the story, captured all the characters’ emotions and had you feeling the all. These versatile voice artists are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for the fantastic listen. 

Good start to this trilogy!

This is my first listen/read by this author and she definitely got the hooks in me, I need to know what happens next in Luciana and Romero’s tumultuous love story. I will preface the storyline isn’t new, no twists you don’t see coming, but the writing was done well and the narration was great and brought the characters to life. I enjoyed it and can’t wait for book 2 on audio to make an appearance (yes I realize book 1 on audio just came out, but a girl can dream haha).

I think the characters and narration was done well in terms of them matching (writing vs performance). Luciana is very naive, not made for this life, but wants to have a backbone and stand up for herself but fails pretty much every time. She tries with Romero and sometimes can make him see the light but its more a delayed realization by him haha. Romero has had a tough upbringing, couldnt get out of this life, and has a hard exterior and isn’t used to having feelings for someone. He has his brother and that’s it. I thought Logan was a little harsh for me at times, like screaming into his mic when it wasn’t the right moment, so that brought my 4.5 rating down to a 4 on here. Isabelle did a wonderful job. I think Luciana’s family is horrible, even her bff and her other cousins. They have no backbone and won’t stand up to his father so they don’t get my vote as awesome characters. I am interested to see how things shake up in books 2 and 3 after Luciana has to change tactics and officially pick sides. I like how we got a tease of what the two of them could be, almost had that date *swoon* but with it being a trilogy it couldnt be that easy hahaha.

Looking forward to how Luciana will make it up to Romero, seeing more of Romero’s Dom and dark side but also seeing him open up more once he trusts Luciana again. I hope Gio doesnt die, I feel like he is going to be hurt or something because that is what happens when I like side characters haha, the author is like NOPE time to hurt or end them and rip out your heart more haha. Solid 4/5 stars for this audiobook and story. I think you need to go into this story realizing these characters have a lot of growth to do and yes they might be annoying/have annoying tendencies because of their naivety or rough past, but they will even out as the story goes on, the 2 will be good for each other ❤️

Ruthless Saints is book #1 in the Sold To The Mafia Boss series. This was an intriguing story that pulled me in from the start. This story was a roller coaster ride of emotions, full of secrets, betrayal, lies, danger, and sacrifice. I loved the dynamic between Romero and Luciano. The chemistry between these two was off the charts hot. But that Cliffy?!? I need part two asap.

Isabella Turner and Logan Anare did a fantastic job portraying these characters.

Need More!

I generally read books that end in HEA for the couple and the main plot continues. This one ended with a cliffhanger that had me going wait that's the end of the audio! That's how you're ending this!! I need to know what happens next. I really need to know how it's about to go down now that he knows he's been betrayed! So I'm looking forward to listening to more. If you can't do cliffhangers then stock up on the series and binge it. Once you get started you'll want to see how it ends.

Mafia Age Gap Romance

Ruthless Saints by Ella Jade is a dark mafia romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Isabelle Turner and Logan Anare. This is the first book in the Sold To The Mafia Boss series.

This is the first book of Ella's that I have read, and it won't be my last. I am loving the chemistry between Romero and Luciana. I can't wait to see how everything will play out over the course of the series. I really enjoyed getting both of their points of views throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.

The book ended on a cliffhanger that left me begging for more. I can't wait for the next book in the series Her Heartless King to be released on audio so I can get more of their story.

Logan and Isabelle did an amazing job on the narration. They both really know how to bring a story to life. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

I would recommend this book if you like dark romances, mafia romances, age gap romances, enemies to lovers romances, or arranged marriage romances.
