Feel Good
Definitely a feel good story. I love the way Rudy made sense of the school system... I had similar experiences in school that I had yet to figure out till I read this. I love how he just walked towards all those goals like there was nothing to lose. I love how he talks about how rough it was, how so many things didn't work out from time to time, how the leeches showed up at every corner when he was trying to launch his movie... even a priest was trying to blackmail him! He persevered in spite of it all. My review doesn't touch all the wonderful things I got from this book.

Joliet stories
The personal anecdotes were great. It really captured “the spirit of Rudy”.
The first few chapters were a bit heavy on all the Notre Dame love. Could have shortened that up a bit. But hey, there’s a lot to like about ND.
We met up with Danny at the ND bookstore in October ‘23. I think he was there for a book signing. Still looks young as I remember him at a wrestling practice in HS at JCHS.

Motivational For All Ages !!
I was able to relate to Rudy since the beginning of the story. I was able to view similarities in our upbringing despite different backgrounds. Pushes me to continue to work on my goals!
