Loved it!

Royal Heart is was an exciting heist romance that I couldn’t not put down. Damon and Ari had all the chemistry even though she despised him for what had happened in the past. They now have tow work together and pose as husband and wife and the heat ignites between them.

Leila Allarie and Sebastian York narrate this book in duet narration. Leila did great at portraying the hurt and anger Ari had for Damon from their past and Sebastian does great at showcasing Damon’s protectiveness and love for Ari. They both gave good performances.

Loved it

Wow, I loved every second of this book. The narrators did a fantastic job of bringing the story to life and making me forget the world around me. I am pretty sure this is a Robin Hood retelling and I am here for it. As for the story it was everything I wanted it to be, action packed and spicy. Highly recommend for anyone who loves a fantastic love story and a high stakes heist. Personally I loved it!

Great Story

The book kept me wanting to listen, surprised no reviews. I definitely recommend. Pete Simonelli aka Sebastian York was once again AMAZING.

I loved the premise of the book from the get go. High stakes heist?? Yes please. 😏 I think the narrators did a greats job of bringing it to life. Sebastian York is one of my favorite narrators so I was excited to get a chance to review this.

I loved the banter between the MCs. It was funny and you could feel the tension between them from the beginning. Their first kiss was electric, and I knew right away that it wouldn’t be long before these two hit the sheets. When they did it was hottttt. With ALL the ts lol

I haven’t read any other books in this series, but I didn’t feel like that effected my reading experience at all. This was a good stand alone. It was my first read from this author, and I’d definitely check out her other work!

Ari lost her father at a young age to a job gone wrong. He never wanted her in this life. So instead he took on a young, male apprentice.

Damon is the young, male apprentice. He learned everything he could until that fateful day.

That day is embedded in Ari’s mind. She hates Damon for getting her father killed. So when he comes knocking at her door needing her help, her answer is a resolute no. But Damon still plays dirty and he pulls the rug out from under her.

As they begin their journey to recover the Royal Heart, they are stiff with each other. Since they are posing as a married couple they need to be believable. But will practice lead to perfection or will it blow up in their faces?

When a surprise player enters the picture how will these two handle the challenges? This player seems to be a step ahead of them at all stops and it is frustrating. But with Prince Lucas on the team will the tides change?

I love Ari and Damon together. They hate each other and yet are so attracted to each other they can’t think straight.

Seeing Prince Lucas in this story was just pure bonus. And his escapades are epic. He apparently has a thing for climbing through air vents.

Seeing Damon’s brother, Max, get his life on track and work for GT on a recovery team was the final deal sealer.

Leila Allarie is a new narrator for me. I enjoyed her voice as Ari and she is a good blend with Sebastian York. It has been awhile, over a year, since I have listened to a SebYo narrated book. It was such a pleasure listening to him again. I have missed his voice.
