Raul Dragon, the Crown Prince of Caleva, is presenting the Medallo de los Lirios to its recipients in the medal ceremony when he gets dizzy and blacks out. Long story short, he's exhausted and the King orders him to take time off from his duties so he sends him on a "vacation." Erica Ortiz pilots Gabriel, the royal duke, and his fiancee Quinn's jet and is perfect for accompanying Raul as his certified outdoor adventure guide. Erica has chosen to take the trail to the area that is known as the nesting grounds for the beautiful Calevan Dragons. When it appears that someone has been there illegally and left quickly, she can't help but consider that they had been after the dragons and their priceless eggs. When Raul's foot falls into a hole in the ground, Erica knows that this is the nest. As Raul and Erica spend more time together, the inevitable happens and they are falling together. This is a sweet and spicy story with a full range of characters that are very well written. The world around them is described so beautifully that it feels like we're actually in Caleva.
I bought the audiobook and Nick Mills' narration is impressive. His dynamic and expressive voice gives each character a unique personality and attitude.
