Publisher's Summary

Whether it's repairing a home or taking care of clients' other needs, Twin Cities handyman Sam Haney is in demand from his mostly female clientele. Despite Sam's lothario reputation, love isn't part of his portfolio. He's built a lot of walls in his time, but the one that's surrounded his heart ever since the death of his parents is his most solid yet.

Haley Cooper has had enough heartache for a lifetime. Her high school sweetheart up and moved to Indonesia - alone - just two weeks before their wedding. Her mother thinks it's time for Haley to move on and contracts Sam to work on Haley's wreck of a house - and anything else, if he's got the notion.

Sparks fly and passion ignites. But Haley isn't into Sam's love-'em-and-leave-'em act. She wants something more. Fixing a house is one thing, but for this handyman, building a relationship will need a whole different set of skills.

Great feel good read

I really enjoyed this one right up to end. No dull moments and the audio book was amazing. The narrator did a great of bringing each character to life. This is my first read by this author, won't be my last.

Slow

What did you love best about What You Do to Me?

The story was slow to start but warmed up and ended up being a decent story.

What did you like best about this story?

SLOW and bouncy.

Have you listened to any of Teri Clark Linden’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I haven't.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

It irritated me as the man ran away and came back and ran away and came back.

Any additional comments?

Overall this was a good story. The narrator really didn't make me FEEL the story. The author wrote some intimate moments but I didn't FEEL them.

Made Me Smile and Laugh.

It took me a while to get used to the narrator but it was a good book. It made me laugh right along side the characters.

Boring and cliche

Very slow and boring and very cliche archetypes. Not impressed and definitely won't be reading the next one.

Vanilla

The story is sweet... but it’s very predictable and without much passion. It was e retraining, but I was a bit bored.

If you could sum up What You Do to Me in three words, what would they be?

Emotional, Slow Burn

What was one of the most memorable moments of What You Do to Me?

When Sam realizes he needs Hayley in his life.

Have you listened to any of Teri Clark Linden’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

This is my first book by Teri Clark Linden

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Floatation devices

Any additional comments?

I really loved this book. It gave me all of the feels. The only thing I would have changed is having a male narrator for Sam's POV. I think that would have enriched the story.

Fun Story

This was a fun story. The narration was good the characters was fun. Definitely worth the read.

Sam Haney is the handyman, and he has quite the reputation. He is known as the dubbed the handiest handyman. He doesn't do relationships so meaningless sex for clients who needs household repairs works out perfect for him. That is until Haley Cooper.

Predictable

I enjoyed this story, but it was very predictable. Nothing to make it stand out.
