Misadventures of a female narrator

First, let me just say that I will beg, borrow, buy any media offerings narrated by Christian Fox.
Regardless of story or plot. whether there is one, or not, if Christian's name is on the ticket I'm gonna listen..dammit.

This story is simple and frankly weak. Vacuous plot even as the story idea seemed intriguing or at least I imagined there could have been a more interesting tale told.

And yet having CF do his thing, kept me 'involved' . But this Lucy person is one of the worst narrators I have had the misfortune to come across. Her voice was grating and what I supposed was meant to be sexy came off as perverted and unattractive. So, yeah I skipped every chapter she narrated.

She messed up an already compromised tale. Too bad.

Carson & Ella's💘Story! Another Great Misadventure!

A great addition to the Misadventures series. I love how each talented author brings it, giving their own unique story and adventure or rather misadventure. Shayla Black gives us a well written, well told story. The characters and storylines are interesting and well developed. I enjoyed the dynamics of the story and how it ended. Thanks for another great story.

I listened to the Audible edition, Christian Fox and Lucy Rivers are terrific narrators and storytellers. They do a wonderful job performing the voices and bringing the characters to life from the pages to your ears. Thank you for the great listen!

Needed better female reader

I would have given 5 stars if the female lead was near s good as CF!

This book is SCORCHING HOT HOT HOT!! But also have a great love story with up and down that keeps you interesting all the way to the end! Great book 👍🏼

Cute and Sizzling

This story is totally a cute and fun read. The chemistry between Carson and Ella is off the charts. The pace was great, the auxiliary characters were interesting, and I enjoyed every bit of it. Both narrators were excellent for these characters.

Lady narrator

I tried to listen to two books from the series but failed to stay interested to finish the book. I didn’t like the way the lady narrator did her part, this is only my opinion. I can’t stay focused because of poor voiceover of the lady. I would really like to finish it (I can’t read the book @ the moment)

4 Star Audible Escapes listen

I was confused by some reviews that stated only one female narrator. According to Audible there was one make and female. Anyway, it was another great Audible Escapes listen for me.

Nice story

Story is entertaining. The reason for rating is the idea that sex changed everything and made them fall in love in 4 days. The male narration was good. The female not enjoyable. Whoever hired her should have thought twice. She was hard to listen to.
