Publisher's Summary

There are no douchebags in this story.

Well, there are, but they're not who this story is about.

This story is about me - the coach's daughter.

When I moved to Iowa to live with my dad, the university's take-no-prisoners wrestling coach, I thought transferring would be easy as pie - living with my father would be temporary, and he'd make sure his douchebag wrestlers left me alone.

Wrong on both counts.

Assholes always come out of the woodwork when the stakes are high.

A bet is placed, and I'm on the table. After one humiliating night and too much alcohol, I find the last nice guy on campus. And when he offers to rent me his spare bedroom, I go all in. It's time for the nice guy to finish first.

Midnight chats and spilling my problems turn to lingering touches. Lingering touches turn to more.

And the ultimate good guy has the potential do more damage than any douchebags ever could.

Amazing til the end

I really did love this book until the last bit of it. The whole Rex/Elliot mess just didn’t do it for me. Aside from that, I loved it. I just don’t like Rex and he aggravates me.

Love this Series!!!

Another great installment in the How to Date a Douchebag series from Sara Ney.
We were introduced to Elliott in Sebastian’s book and I loved him since.
Now that Oz is gone and Elliott has a spare room, he decides to rent it out to none other than the Wrestling Coaches daughter Anabelle.

As time goes on, the two become close but Elliott can’t get involved because he’s leaving at the end of the semester.
I loved the easy relationship between the characters and the instant connection.
I also loved the unexpected surprise that threw everyone’s plans upside down.
I was even happier to see Rex Gunderson redeem himself. Hopefully this means we will be getting his book next. I’ve always liked Rex even when he was a Douchebag but he totally grows up in this book.

Great narration by Erin Mallon and Josh Goodman. These two are amazing together and pull you right into the story.

Loved it!!

Another great one from Sara Ney

I love everything about Sara Ney's Douche Bag Series even though you find characters from the other series in each book she does a great job creating the new character stories. Annabelle and Elliot have a great story, I think everyone will enjoy their friends to lovers. I even liked Rex Gunderson in this book he starts out as a douchbag but turns into a nice guy. At one point I was even routing for him.

Basically if you are a fan of Sara Ney's other Douchebag books you'll be a fan of this one as well. And of course with Muffy Newtown narrating you can't go wrong. She's paired nicely with Josh Goodman.

I loved Annabelle and Elliot's story

I have to admit, I fell so hard for the characters in Sara Ney's The Coaching Hours. It is the fourth book in How to Date a Douchebag series and with each book I read in this stand alone series, I like it even more. Sara has an amazing ability to pull you in from the start and make you have an instant connection to her characters. I laughed out loud and had to wipe away tears all while experiencing this fantastic story. Annabell and Elliot were amazing characters and I never wanted their story to end.

The premise was set. Coach's daughter has transferred to Iowa and he has warned everyone to stay clear of her. Most listen, well, except for two that make a bet where she is the prize. When she hears of their ridiculous bet, she is anything but okay. She ends up going out for a night on the town and the night proves to be either the worst or best mistake of her life, depending on how you look at it.

I devoured this story and couldn't get enough of it. Sarah Ney even made me like Gunderson, a man who has proven time and again what and insensitive jerk he could be. I certainly hope he gets a story of his own in the future.

PS - The audio version of this story is fantastic. Muffy Newton and Josh Goodman bring Sarah's work to life. I would highly recommend either narrator for nearly anything in the future!

Sara Ney does it again

A while back one of my friends recommended Sara Ney's books. I listened to the first HtDaD and was hooked. I love her writing style and her storyline. The books are full of wit and charm, but there's plenty of emotion woven in. I've loved this entire series and the narration is spot on.
