Publisher's Summary

Brianna Heart has a six-year old daughter and a 12-year plan to keep her life as simple as possible until Layla turns 18. That means swearing off relationships and the drama that goes along with them, working two jobs, and being the best damn mother she can be.

The last thing Capital Series Grand Prix racer Hugh Braden wants after dating media-hungry leggy models and money-hungry fan girls is a blind date. But how could he turn down a favor to one of his best friends? Hugh expected the date to go poorly, but he didn't expect to be intensely attracted to the beautiful brown-eyed bartender who completely blows him off - and steals his every thought thereafter.

When Brianna's perfectly orchestrated life turns upside down, Hugh is there to help, softening the turmoil, and maybe even rescuing her heart from the lonely place where it has been hiding. Can a man who doesn't believe in fate and a woman who doesn't believe in true love find happiness in each other's arms forever?

And they live happily ever after with Prince Hugh

Would you listen to Hearts at Play again? Why?

Yes I would. It's a Melissa Foster book!!<br/>It is an amazing story of a single mom finding true love when she least expects it and a man who is struck almost instantly in love with her. It is only made better by the incredible narration of BJ Harrison!!!

What did you like best about this story?

I liked how they were nit a traditional couple and that Hugh being s famous race car driver know he is ready to settle down and finds true love with this sweet, sensitive and caring single mom, Brianna.

Which character – as performed by B.J. Harrison – was your favorite?

My favorite for this book was Layla with Brianna a close second. But I love how he performs all of the characters with equal enthusiasm and realism. It is so much fun to listen to the way he switches his voice around.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I wished I could have yes, but instead I spread out and listen in the car.

Any additional comments?

As always, I loved listening to this book as much as I loved reading it for the first time myself. <br/>This series is so awesome and being narrated by BJ Harrison just enhances the whole experience!

Great story!!

This was a great story that I enjoyed both when I read it as well as when I listened to it. I enjoyed the love at first sight story where the characters worked through their insecurities, fears and issues with single parenting while finding love. I enjoyed the smooth, clear narration as I listened to this story and enjoyed the new characters that were introduced while being able to keep track of the characters from previous stories in this series. I would recommend this book to others.

Wow. Hugh and Brianna - Braden's 6

I'm running out of new things to say about Melissa Foster's audiobooks of the Braden's. Each one gets better and better and I fall more and more in love with the Braden family. I just love how she keeps the story going and includes just enough about previous couples. Hearts at Play is the baby Braden's story and he doesn't disappoint. Hugh and Brianna are perfect for each other. I hope Cat gets a book one day! She is a great secondary character and deserves a book of her own. Hint hint...
I'm glad we get a romance book without all the drama that other authors put in books, Thankfully Melissa doesn't do that. So on to BJ Harrison and his narrating of this fantastic story. As always he has outdone himself and I simply love his voice and even more for Layla, I'm not sure if it's meant or not but some of his words gives Layla a lisps and I love it. His voice changes for all the characters and it's good but His narrating of Layla and Hal are my favorite and I don't think he will be able to do any others as good, but If he does I will be the first to praise him for it. I don't have enough words to say how much I love this one. I highly recommend Hearts at Play in book and audio, you will love it, both are fantastic. Thanks Melissa.

No frogs to kiss

Would you consider the audio edition of Hearts at Play to be better than the print version?

They are the same although you can get a bit more emotional with the audi version

What did you like best about this story?

It was like an adult version of Cinderella, Brianna a single mother of a 6 year old meets Hugh who likes to thrill seek. I liked the interaction of Hugh with Brianna's daughter Layla. It takes a while for Brianna to step down from her 12 year plan of no dating, but cant help falling for Hugh.

Have you listened to any of B.J. Harrison’s other performances? How does this one compare?

Its just as good as all the others I have listened to

If you made a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

You don't have to kiss that many frogs to find your Prince

Any additional comments?

Another good listen from Melissa and BJ Harrison

Playboy meets his match

Hugh Braden, playbook racing car driver meets Brianna Heart, single mother, by chance. They end up with sparks flying between them and fall for one another but Brianna is cautious because of her 6year old daughter Layla. Beautiful story and wonderfully narrated. I love that B.J. manages to keep the same voices for each character as the Love in Bloom series continues. Wonderful book by Melissa and amazingly brought to life by B.J. Harrison.
