Wow!!!!

So much to love. Liam and Blaine are great characters. I fell in love with Blaine and wanted to adopt and mother Liam. I have never been to Rio. Teodora Kostova made it seem like I was there. The respect and love she has for the country comes through not only from her descriptions but also with the characters' actions, especially Liam's. Alexander Doddy did a fabulous job. You felt the emotions and the way he was able to convey different characters and the personality in what they said was spot on. Plus the accent OMG I could listen to him all day...sigh.

Deliciously summer-y feelings.

I absolutely loved this story. As the author herself mentions, the city of Rio is as much part of the story as Blaine and Liam, who are great, sunny, positive characters! The whole time listening to this audiobook I was sporting a smile!

I think I need a trip to Rio

I loved the way Liam's and Blain's relationship started. it didn't feel forced to me. The way Teodora described parts of Rio reignited the desire I already had to see Rio. I listened to two of her books back to back because I couldn't get enough. I highly recommend her books!!

I received an ARC in exchange for a review and I loved this book.

Both Liam and Blaine are feeling down. Blaine recently divorced and Liam recently went through a breakup.

Liam is in a bind because his dream vacation is slipping away from him because it is a couples vacation. In comes Blaine to save the vacation.

These two develop a friendship before they even leave for vacation and starts the journey of falling in love.

I felt like I was on vacation with them doing all of the sightseeing. I loved it. You watch them both try to fight the chemistry and feelings but as you and I know, that never lasts.

In the end, they realize thy need to be together and move forward with a huge change in life to be happy. gotta love Rio

I loved the narrators voice and brought the book to life

Starts Well - Ends Well - The Middle? Not so much

I had high hopes for Teodora Kostova's 'A Sip of Rio'. Unfortunately, even though I wanted to like this audiobook, it just didn't work for me.

Alexander Doddy's narration was inconsistent, at best. For me, even his narration of the protagonists engaged in sex were boring.

Others clearly disagree with my assessment. You may as well.
