Adrian Goldsworthy is never disappoints. A lot of info and and I’m chronological order. Huge fan already.

Outstanding audiobooks

I enjoyed the details that were presented. Also the evolution oh the Roman army over the centuries was incredible to learn about. A wonderful resource In The study of the Roman military

Not much here.

I have most everything Goldsworthy has published. I have become more of a fan of his novels. The straight history seems to thin or just beyond me. This work is a thin overview that covers a lot of ground. I may be just in a bad mood today.
