Publisher's Summary

Roles. They define our rights, obligations, responsibilities, beliefs, and even who we are. How well do we each understand our respective roles? How do we teach our children about proper roles? How would the problems children and parents face change if they better understood roles? Aren't parents, whether aggressive, passive, or assertive, always defining roles anyway? How do roles affect business relationships? Why do we see the roles in today's world wrapped around so much confusion and debate when it's impossible to escape roles?

This audiobook makes roles easier to understand, and it shows how to strengthen roles and empower ourselves and those we live and work with to reach our full potential.

Incredibly insightful!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I loved this book. After finishing it, I read parts again with my daughter - she loved it too. Nicholeen Peck fortunately has a higher regard for what is true than what is politically correct - and she says it like it is. My wife and I have been greatly helped by having these principles in our home - it is an extension of our core values, written in a way that we can easily explain to our children. Our whole family is better off for it.

this is the second text listening to this. I didn't notice all the mess up as much.
I really like this story. I am sharing it with as many people as I can think of.
I would love to be able to purchase Parenting a House United on audible (hint) I know it's longing g but it would be great

The parable is good, but the feeling is stretched.

I get that the story needed to be concise but as a man, I just don't see the Dad being able to change that quickly and to have total success with all the children and spouse within such a short time period. Nice enough story but it would take longer in my estimation.

Good Message, terrible quality

The message is good and helpful and gives a new way of looking at your life. The recording was terrible. The reader's grunts, clicking sounds, clearing of the throat, silent gaps, computer sounds and other distractions made it feel like I was in her echoey den listening to her read it to me. The microphone sounds like a $10 plastic toy. Sadly, the recording and sound quality really impacted my ability to internalize the message as credible. I really do believe the message is true, but boy is it hard not to judge the message by the recording quality. I don't plan on listening to this again.

So blessed by this read!

Written in a very fun way with the story of the justice family. it is exactly what I needed to bring all the scattered thoughts I've been trying to pull together Finally TOGETHER. Love the logic and simplicity of it. The steps are simple and will benefit both the individual and the family. I've been working on applying them through the progession suggested and find having the structure gives such peace, though definitely very challenging! So incredibly worth the read!

Propaganda

I started to get a weird vibe when I was reading this and I did a little research on the author. I suggest you check out her history before you purchase this.
