Fun and Entertaining

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

First off, Melody Muzljakovich did an amazing job giving the characters their own voices and exuded their distinct personalities to a "T". Now on to the story. While it had its cheesy moments, the story was intriguing, and the author, Jordan Elizabeth, gave us a few chapters of flashbacks providing us the backstory of the crystal. I thought it was, overall, entertaining and a quick listen. I say "quick" because I feel like it was an appropriate amount of time to tell the story without containing too many filler events. With complex relationships, twists and turns, and a unique setting, I had no trouble staying entertained!

One of my negative takeaways would be the ending. It was pretty abrupt. The only other negative I can think of is the conversation about "thigh gaps." That irked me and I don't think should be harped on in this day and age, especially with this being a YA novel. Neither of these things took away from the book and I'll definitely look into reading more by Elizabeth and listening to more book narrated by Muzljakovich.

Really good story

This story is about a stone, that was brought to earth from another planet to keep it safe. The story takes you through different times, so you can understand how it ends up in the right hands. There's a lot of action and adventure in this book. It never leaves you wondering how something happened.

I really enjoyed this book, and would definitely recommend it to anyone

Fun mix of Fantasy and Sci-fi

Quick fun and enjoyable tale with a mix of fantasy and sci-fi. Not wanting to spoil anything all I can say is dig in and enjoy. The amazing narration also brings you right into this fantasy sci-fi world.

Note this book was provided free for review, however, the thoughts and opinions are my own..
