Edge of your seat reading Great mystery.

Awe, inspiration from conformity, too freedom. And the wrestle against conformity, and control. Narratives were excellent. Can't wait to read the rest of the series!!

Fantastic Dragon Fantasy

What a great ride , feels like I'm the dragonfly on the wall . Riveting tale that grabs ya by the coller and takes off. These dragons need a movie deal.

great reading, but the story is a bit short...

it was a bit predictable and short, but I still enjoyed the story. I am looking forward to the next in the series!

Well performed

I enjoyed book 2 in this saga. Again, it ends on a cliffhanger, so we know much more will be revealed in the next book.
I look forward to listening to the next book in the series. The voice actors did a great job! Each character is well developed with accents and vocal inflection.

Still with the series

I am on the second book and plan to go on to the third, but Ember is too stupid to live. WOW - someone please write a smart female character. Spoiler Alert: The person that Ember confided in turned her in to be killed, so she says "Gee, I need to call the person that betrayed me and put everyone in danger". Told to stay put and out of sight lasts almost 15 minutes then onto "I'm bored, I need to go out in public and put everyone in danger, again". And her reaction to the two main male characters can be compared to a stray female cat in heat 365 24/7. Show some control - I know she said a 16 year old doesn't know much, but they also would not make it to 17 being that clueless. The Rogues need to call both sides to come get Ember, and run from her as fast as possible.

Just keeps getting better

This series keeps it going, you get more background the more the story grows. Now for book 3!

For a minute I was getting upset the MC…Miss Ember, needs to calm down…Lol…But very much like the end…On to the next book of the series…❤️🎧📚!!!

Seriously tight romantic tension.

First of all, you will have to read the first one in the series " Talon" to really fully appreciate this one. It has a good storyline with lots of action, but what really kept me going the really harsh tension that quickly developed in a romantic triangle. That could be a good thing or a bad thing depending on the kind of person you are. I also liked the way that they used multiple narrators for the separate points of view. It helps to keep the track of who's point of view we are seeing the story from. It also helps to bring each character their own personality.
