Amazing Journey

Easily one of the best books I’ve ever read. If you were alive in 1968, just be prepared I will ask you if remember where you were Christmas Day. And then I will recommend that you must read this book. Brilliant in so many ways. Chills, tears, smiles, and pride to be felt throughout.

A nail biter of a story!

Even tho everyone knows how Apollo 8 ends with such success, this telling of the preparation and flight is spellbinding , riveting...
Mr Kurson has done excellent research for his book. He tells this historic episode in our lives as if you are there. I particularly enjoyed his blending of personal
Lives along with the the amazing work of the astronauts & the scientists @ NASA. Just a great book.. the narrator was excellent.

This is absolutely one of the best books/audio books having to do with the Apollo program, not to mention Apollo 8. This is a must read/must listen! Just wonderful!

Rocket men

Great book. The narrator was outstanding.it was difficult to stop listening. It really makes you think and remember what things were like in 1968

One of the best books I’ve ever heard

This was an incredible book! As a 12 year old when the events originally occurred, I could not fully appreciate the risks associated with the mission at the time. This book was incredible! One of the best ever.

Amazing history of our first trip around the Moon

I loved this book! The author did a great job of detailing not only the mission, but the astronauts, and their families.

I think my favorite part is when they see the Earth for the first time. It's always great when you have tension in a story even though the outcome is known. But, this was a nice respite, before heading back to Earth.

The narrator was also great. Highly recommend.

Is it possible to have two favorite books?
Rocket men along with Shadow Divers are at the top of my list. I will be reading this book many more times. Thank you Mr Kurson .
