Enjoyed the storyline

Would you try another book from Gia Riley and/or Jeremy Vore?

OK, I enjoyed the storyline a great deal, as far as the narrative goes not a big fan. I couldn't tell half the time who was talking, it's messed up the story for me many times. Jeremy has a beautiful voice, but it just sounded like someone reading the story to me. I didn't feel much emotion or attempt to make the charators come to life for the listener.

What other book might you compare Rock the Boat to and why?

It was unique that's for sure, can't compare with any others because I don't think I've read anything similar. Really enjoyed the story.

What three words best describe Jeremy Vore’s voice?

Beautiful, smooth, strong

Was Rock the Boat worth the listening time?

For me I'm going to say no, I think I would have enjoyed it more if I read it. I do have it on ebook and I think I may just to do that.

4.5 Perfect Match Stars!

This was such a fun book with so much heart! It is about two people who were so kind and compassionate and had so much love to give but are also heartbroken. They have both insulated themselves into their own kind of safe bubble. Lucky for them that they have wonderfully loyal friends who will do anything to help them move on. When Easton & Lark meet on a singles cruise, immediately the sparks fly between them. But will they be able to let go of their pain and find love again or will they sink down further? Easton, Lark and their friends were so well written, I could understand and feel the deep emotions they struggled to overcome while putting on a brave face. The banter between Easton and Lark was witty and they had great chemistry. I loved all the twists and turns in this delightful romance. It was charming, fast paced, emotional, and sexy. I enjoyed the narrator, Jeremy Vore. He did a good job distinguishing between characters, and helping me to get lost in the story.
This is the first book I've experienced from this author and narrator it won't be the last!

ROCKIN' STORY... Needs a feminine voice.

Any additional comments?

I received this book free from the author through Audiobook Boom, for an honest review.
The concept was very original. The writing was good and the story grabbed me from the start and flowed strongly through the entire listen.
The narrator had a great voice for Easton, unfortunately, it didn't change for the Lark. More than often, I found myself wondering which character's dialog I was listening to.
As romances go, it had it all right. IMO, I think Easton fell in love a bit too fast while Lark became painfully reluctant. I would have liked seeing more of their time together instead of the bulk of their relationship being built on their pasts. The ending was a complete surprise. Nicely done, Aidan!

Rock the Boat Stars

You know those books, you are super happy to read but when you’re in to it your like hmmm.

This book is kind of that for me. Don’t get me wrong I didn’t hate it but I didn’t love it I am in the in-between, maybe I was expecting too much? I think the plot of this book was pretty cool.

You go on a boat cruise and meet your perfect match. Kinda cool I think. I love that Lark’s girlfriend gets her to go, to get her out of her funk after a terrible break up. Because let’s face it we all need that friend right.

Easton’s heart is smashed, after losing the love of his life he doesn’t know how to come back from that. He also has a pretty amazing friend who is encouraging him to come back to the land of the living not saying he has to forget her just that he needs to start to move on.

I don’t know whether it’s me or what but I just don’t see the meaning to “forgetting” with alcohol. Yes its fiction but I just don’t see the appeal.

In the end it was and ok book. I was surprised the audio has a male narrator. Don’t get me wrong his voice is smooth as butter. But I thought the book would have been more suited for a female narrator.

Very entertaining!

This is the story of lark and Easton. They had both suffered in the past. Easton has lost his girlfriend and Lark found out her fiancee was cheating on her. They meet on a cruise. He is performing there as a way to hide from the outside world. She goes for one week with her best friend to forget...

The story is sweet, enjoyable ,light and very entertaining.

Rockin!

What made the experience of listening to Rock the Boat the most enjoyable?

Although somewhat predictable story, the narrator was great and the story kept me interested and listening.

What does Jeremy Vore bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Emotion and voice inflections helped me to "feel" what the characters were feeling.
