This journey is getting better and better. VA's are incredible. The story is fantastic! I highly recommend it to anyone!

Great story

Great story leaves you waiting for the next volume so you can find out what's happening next in a good way

One of my FAVORITE works!

Simply put, I LOVE this work by Author Saileri. Were I ever talented enough to write a commercially successful book, THIS is how I’d want it to look. So, a much revered story, and add to that some VERY talented and PERFECTLY matched voice actors, and you end up with a grand story made even better when voiced by two actors who CLEARLY love the story as well. Mr. Waters seems to deeply connect with the character of Asterios; his portrayal seems SO respectful of Author Saileri’s intent. And Ms. Lane’s performance? I’m literally awed by the versatility of her performance. Ms. Lane is tasked with voicing a number of major characters and she pulls it off with simply AMAZING alacrity. Such a versatile, talented performance is a beautiful thing to enjoy. My heartfelt thanks to Ms. Lane and Mr. Waters for their WONDERFUL portrayal of these much-loved character from this fledgling author.

Gotta lv this series

What can I say? This is another excellent addition to the series and now I have to wait again. This is one of those series that you listen to while you're out on your run/ride or during your workout or chores. It helps make the task go a lot faster even though you'll probably work a bit slower while you listen. Super entertaining!

Great addition to the series

Loved this one, so much plot advancement, the dialogue between characters is always fluid and entertaining. There is some combat, but thankfully not nearly as much as the last volume. Couldn’t stop listening, now I’m sad because who knows when the next will be released…

So good!

This series is so good it’s addicting. I can’t wait for the next book to come to audio.

Awesome Sequel

When it comes to a sequel, I am personally looking for everything that made the last book worth it and then some. In my opinion that is this book. The most important question needing an answer is whether or not I was entertained, and I will share with you now that the answer to that is yes. If you're new to the series, then I highly recommend you check out the omnibus that is up and available and encompasses the first three volumes. Especially right now as I'm writing this review because there's a site wide sale going on. If you get to the ending of this book and you're looking for more than I've got good news because volume six and seven are out now and available in eBook form. These are always questions that I'm looking to answer when I get to the ending of a particularly good story and as such feel like they're worth sharing here in the review. The gentleman also has discord and Patreon in his Amazon bio if you're looking to check that out. The narration team did a fantastic job. Right before this book I caught Mr. Waters performance in “The Wolf King’s Lair 6” and I'm looking forward to Mrs. Lanes performance in “The Dragon Sovereign” next. Lastly, I'll just say well done to everybody who had a hand in bringing this story to us, the Audible listeners.
