A New Favorite Friend's to Lovers Audiobook

OMG I love love LOVE Cole and Ginger!! Holding the Reins is one of my all-time favorite books so I was so excited to not only be back in Silver Pines, but to also finally get all the details on Cole and Ginger's "friendship". (yes those are air quotes) We all knew there had to be so much more to it than that and their story couldn't have been more perfect.

Paisley did such an amazing job writing their banter and chemistry. You could feel the way they care about each other in every single chapter. They had a romantic connection from the beginning but they are both fighting it so hard. I loved the slow burn that was built into them resisting and resisting until they finally give in. *chefs kiss*

I wanted to immersive read this one (reading with your eyes while listening to the audio) so I waited until the audio pub day and it was so worth it! The narration for this book was amazing and added to much to the experience. Erin Mallon and Thomas Oakley narrated and they were the most perfect Ginger and Cole. Loved this one!

Friendship that grows

I really enjoyed this book and love the author. All her books are written so well and keep your attention. Loved Ginger from the beginning and it was so much fun to read about her this time!

Loved Cole and Ginger’s friendship

This story was narrated to perfection and I loved all of the banter between these two friends.

The friendship between Cole & Ginger through out the years was beautiful!

I loved this book the first time I read it but listening to the audio just made me love it even more! Narration was excellent! Lots of personality that made me LOL so many times. Great book, and awesome audiobook 😍

Lovely story, not so good narration

This was such a lovely story in the series. I did think it was 2 hrs too long. After a certain point, it just seemed to drag on. My biggest issue was with the narration of Ginger's character. The narrator is a absolutely not what I imagined for Ginger, which is fine but it was almost unbearable listening to the narrator. She almost sounded out of breath and she ended every sentence in a sing song tone. I only stuck with it because I wanted to hear how this couple's story played out.

Honestly, I enjoyed the story, but I have a really hard time with this particular FN. Very poor choice for the spicy Ginger.

Great story. Bad choice of a female narrator. Honestly, if I see her name on future narrations I am NOT purchasing. She’s ruined several stories I’ve looked forward to so much.
The drag at the end of every sentence. Weird inflections. Flat performance. Sounds like she’s reading the evening news. Just boring.
Loved the male narrators voice. Mostly just read the story after about half way through. Couldn’t take it anymore. Please stop using this narrator!!!

I feel the story could have been shortened but overall a delightful tale. I was not a big fan of the narrators. Paisley writes a wonderful story of family and love.
