Honestly, I hate the basics books, the ones that just share thoughts, point of views and take all the time offering nothing to the table, but this book have content, real talk and plans that make me move to my new step. This is the book I’ve been looking for. Vivian Tu ends the gate keeping of financial literacy and provides a clear step by step guide on how you can manage everything from negotiating pay, paying down debt and the big ones: investing and saving. I learned so much and felt seen as a millennial navigating the reality of today’s financial climate. This is an important book and one I’ll be gifting to everyone I know. If you’re afraid to tackle your finances, this is a judgement free, empathetic and helpful book to take that first step.

Loved this book. Wish Vivian were around when I was younger. She explains everything in a very easy to understand and relatable way.

Finance advice from someone who’s been to therapy!

Approachable, funny, and smart. Covers all the basics, and while I knew a lot of the info already, the creative explanations were entertaining and she added a lot of good tips for money management I had never heard. She takes on necessary topics of economic inequality and marginalization as well as intergenerational money habits, and the roles mental health and shame play in holding us back financially. Performance-wise, the comedic timing was great. I listened to this while walking my dogs and couldn’t not keep myself from bursting out laughing at times.

Plain and simple to comprehend

I've been following Viv on Tiktok and implemented a few key tips of hers about investing, and I've had fabulous gains ever since. She's my fave wall street girly. Thanks Viv.
