Audio enhances already engaging story

I had read this book several years ago and absolutely loved the story so was very excited to experience the audio version. The audio added a fantastic new layer to an already engaging story. Hearing the characters interact off the page made me all the more attached to them. You can tell that a tremendous amount of effort was put into the sound effects, music, and acting. I highly recommend this audio experience and would look forward to listening to other books in this series.

Great story engaging characters

One of my new favorite books series, the world building is great; character development and dialogue is organic and believable. Characters are multidimensional and interesting. I read the whole series on kindle then listened to the audiobook when it came out. The multiple actors and sound effects made the story come alive and as impactful as the first reading.

Talented actors, tons of them

This is great... Love the full cast. Having so many good actors all over this thing really helps. Especially different genders, ages, races, the whole deal. The intimacy is palpable, the action intense, and all these people bring their a-game to the table. You can tell the writing is competent, but these performances definitely made the journey worthwhile. Everybody on this audiobook brings you deeper into the universe, definitely deeper for myself than if I had read it alone. The guy playing Isengrim - holy crap. Sure, my imagination would have done its own thing, but there's a wealth of storytelling brought to life by this huge cast. Kudos, well done.

Exquisite storytelling, immersive experience!

Absolutely loved listening to this book! The soundscapes made me feel like I was right in the action, and each character’s own voice made the book come alive. What a gorgeous way to tell this captivating story… I’d love to hear the other books in the Reynard series told as beautifully as this one. Couldn’t put it down!!
