When I first started listening to Caitlin Davies's I didn't like her.. I soon realized she is a great reader. The reason I didn't like her at first was because the reader had changed. In the first book MARKED, Edwina Wren was the reader and I recognized her the best for ZOEY!! I still do! I will buy more books based her as the reader,Edwina WrenA++++++++++!Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
OF course!! I listened through book 1-11 as I'm sure I will re-read book 11 before reading 12 in October of 2014Any additional comments?

The HoN series in general is slow moving but this book was especially slow. Very little happened. I think that’s maybe to build up the anticipation for the next and final book. If so I didn’t really like the decision to write this book like that. There was a lot of Neferet backstory being told as she rebounded from what was done to her by Zoe and friends in HIDDEN. That was interesting. Especially for those who didn’t read/listen to her novella as they would probably want some info on how Neferet went bad. I really liked the ending. Things are finally going to go down in the next book.
Davies did her usual fabulous job with the narration. She’s amazing.
