love the series, narrator was bad
I thought about just turning it off and reading because I really did not like the way Caitlin Davies voiced it. the voices for each character sounded more authentic in my mind.
I still love the series! I still listened to it because well I bought it and I can only listen at work, not read.

I have none other to compare it to. One of a kind!
Have you listened to any of Caitlin Davies’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
When I first started listening to Caitlin Davies's I didn't like her.. I soon realized she is a great reader. The reason I didn't like her at first was because the reader had changed. In the first book MARKED, Edwina Wren was the reader and I recognized her the best for ZOEY!! I still do! I will buy more books based her as the reader,Edwina WrenA++++++++++!
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
OF course!! I listened through book 1-11 as I'm sure I will re-read book 11 before reading 12 in October of 2014

Unexpected
My ability to see how a story is going to flow has made most books, while still enjoyable, quite predictable. So when I say this book was unexpected and surprising there’s weight to that. Both the prologue and final chapter were perfect bookends to this story.

Amazing
Weather it be for Young adults or adults this book is just a really great series and is told in such an amazing way getting every possible point of view. It is wonderful the storytelling is phenomenal , really impressive! I have loved it for 10 years now and will continue to.

The HoN series in general is slow moving but this book was especially slow. Very little happened. I think that’s maybe to build up the anticipation for the next and final book. If so I didn’t really like the decision to write this book like that. There was a lot of Neferet backstory being told as she rebounded from what was done to her by Zoe and friends in HIDDEN. That was interesting. Especially for those who didn’t read/listen to her novella as they would probably want some info on how Neferet went bad. I really liked the ending. Things are finally going to go down in the next book.
Davies did her usual fabulous job with the narration. She’s amazing.
