Another delightful Carol Drinkwater book

I loved all of the Olive books. Her candid revelations endear her to me. I want to be Carol!!!

Tried but just couldn't get into it!

What would have made Return to the Olive Farm better?

Perhaps a little less attention to minute mundane details, in contrast to the first in this series which I found enchanting!

I tried many times but just couldn't stay in the story. I wish it would've been more like the first as I loved that one!
