A good start

This started out so promising, and then fizzled out to where I lost interest. Alot of confusing and unnecessary parts. On the other hand, narrator did very well and she can sing too.
This audio was given to me free and I voluntarily gave this review.

Fantastic

I love anything MS. Gilbert writes! This was no exception! It is wonderful fantasy, romance, adventure suspense, and sci-fi. It was hard to set it aside and get anything else done. I had a little trouble following things in the beginning, but once familiar with the names of persons and places it all came together. I am going to need to figure out how I can get all of the books in the series. I found books 1-3 for kindle. Are there more? Will there be more? I can't wait to get started on book 2.

Liz Brand is the BEST! I wish all the audio books I have were narrated by her! Thanks for a great performance. I will be looking for your name on other audio books.

An interesting tale of love and adventure. A Ranger forced to protect the ones in her care. I received this Audio book for free in exchange for an unbiased review. Worth a credit! Good listen!

A Personal Quest

I enjoyed this first book of the "Anotech Chronicles" series. Terosh, the second prince, decided to experience the Kireshana on his own. Rangers had the job of protecting the royals. When Terosh left for his Kireshana, Reia, a Ranger, was delegated to watch over him. The worldbuilding was complicated. There were several different characters involved in this story, and the beginning was difficult to follow until the names and places became familiar. Terosh and Reia were fun, independent and determined. Their tortuous path had the couple facing many dangers and obstacles. I'm looking forward to the rest of the series. Liz Brand's narration was great, and her singing added to the entertainment of the story. I was given a free copy of the audiobook, and I have voluntarily posted this review.
