Publisher's summary

To save the only man she's ever loved, she must pay a price.

When Dr. Meghan Forester, a young researcher, helps create a vaccine for the deadly Makanza virus, her goal to annihilate the virus is coming true.

But the question remains - what becomes of the Kazzies? They'll always be infected carriers of the terrifying virus. Despite being newly vaccinated, the public still believes they'll die if exposed.

As government discussions about releasing the Kazzies meets public resistance, a frightening event plunges Meghan into the Kazzie world with Davin at her side. Unwittingly, she becomes the poster child for a political movement to free them. But when an old enemy resurfaces, Meghan learns that to save the only man she's ever loved, she must pay a steep price.

Captivating Continuation

The narrator does an amazing job telling the story. The author has created a different world in which the heroine continues to fight for what is right. This is a great story to get lost in.

Reservation 1

This a good dystopian series which depicts a time when the country was devastated by a virus called the Makanza virus. There were many casualties but there was also survivors known as Kazzis. The researchers identified multiple strains of virus and eventually were able to create a vaccine. This is book 2 and carries on after the vaccine was completed and administered to the rest of the country that was not exposed to the virus. Follow Megan, Davin and the rest of the Kazzis as Megan and others fight for their release. The ending is book 2 is heartbreaking. The narrator does a good job.

The story continues

Just as with book 1 in this series, I couldn't put it down. The story continues with the vaccination being distributed throughout the world, but fear of the Kazzies still abounds. Meghan works to ease fears and educate those with prejudice against the Kazzies. The story was well written and the narrator made it come alive. On to the next book.

Heart wrenching

I’m loving this series. It feels refreshingly real despite the fantasy. I love Megan, that she has serious anxiety, and she’s overcoming it and learning how bold she really is. The love story here is sweet, and sincere. And the issues brought up in concerns with contagious diseases are actually quite pertinent to our current climate. I’m ready for the next one!

Okay...

I struggled to finish this series. The write is okay, and I love the narrator but I felt like the main story line revolved around a political campaign and not awesome Sci-Fi plot. I picked this book because I thought the idea behind the Kazi's was very unique and would make a good story but became disappointed when I felt like the author didn't really use this world to add in any exciting points, or involve the Kazi's in their own struggles. I felt like the author could have done so much better with the idea and concept she create. The three books I read should have been all one book, instead it was drawn out and hard to finish because it couldn't keep my attention. After the thrid book I had to return the series.

Great Read

Reservation 1: The Makanza Series, Book Two was a great read by Krista Street. Meghan has created a vaccine for the Makanza virus and is close to achieving her goals. Unfortunately it isn't known what will happen to the Kazzies. The public is still scared and believes that they will still die even though they are vaccinated. Meghan finds herself in a frightening even and without meaning to becomes the poster child to free the Kazzies. Meghan will do anything in order to save Davin, the only man she's loved. I loved reading more of Meghan and Davin's story and can't wait to read the rest of this series.

I Adore This Series

I adore Meghan and her fight for those she loves. Every time she takes two steps forward, she is forced one step back, but she doesn't give up. This series is worth you time!
