I love how the characters come together and how Charlie always seems involved in things that his son and everybody beg him to stay out of, yet he fills the cliques, “Curiosity that kills the cat!”

Entertaining, a unique story with a great ending

Another great book by Miranda James. Diesel and Charlie Harris are exceptional. I love all the characters and their connections as a family, either by blood or association.
I look forward to the next story!!

another gem of a book

the first sentence hooked me and after I just couldn't put it down. the mystery was well thought through with a lot of twists and unexpected happenings. I love how genuine the main character - Charlie - is and how sincerely he loves his friends and family. this book is the definition of a cozy mystery and I loved it

Another winner

Miranda James has created another wonderful addition to her series. All the characters are there as well as an intriguing mystery.
Erin Bennett, as always, gave a standout performance as she breathed life into the storyline and gave each character their own distinct voice.

A Man and His Cat.

I have always enjoyed the play between Charlie and Diesel. Ms. James has has a wonderful way of weaving a story around a whole community of characters. I have enjoyed each one of her stories. Southern charm and mystery at its best.

Fantastic author and reader of story.

Both the author’s talent for writing a great story and the narrator provideda wonderful experience. I loved the storyline and characters. And with the fantastic voice of the narrator, the storyline was so enjoyable and thrilling.
This is the first book nor will it be the last!!!!

the mystery key remains a mystery!

great story, as usual, disappointed that one item involved was never addressed or concluded. perhaps it will be figured into the next story?

I find each of these books more of a pleasure to listen to. I look forward to each new book!

Excellent as usual

Can’t wait for the next installment. But Sean needs to BACK OFF. Charlie is not a his. And he doesn’t need to sit by the fire place and read all day to make his son happy.
