Publisher's Summary

A year after her husband Zach's death, Lizzie goes to lay flowers where his fatal accident took place. As she makes her way along the road, she thinks about their life together. She wonders whether she has changed since Zach died. She wonders if she will ever feel whole again. At last she reaches the spot. And there, tied to a tree, is a bunch of lilies. The flowers are addressed to her husband. Someone has been there before her.

Lizzie loved Zach. She really did. But she's starting to realize she didn't really know him. Or what he was capable of.

DON'T read this review !!

This was a first for me! On the day I purchased this book, the sample audio wouldn't play, and there were no written reviews, so I decided to purchase it without ANY info. I didn't even read the publisher's summary. I think the title came up when I did a search for a mystery or psychological thriller, and what an excellent surprise it turned out to be. The story is outstanding, and the narration is brilliant.
If you like a good psycho thriller... you will likely be as wowed as I was. I highly recommend this novel, but then again, I told you not to read this review

Equal parts irritating and interesting

Any additional comments?

This book...nay...this FREAKIN AUTHOR! I find her extremely frustrating. In her book Under Your Skin, I was generously rewarded for wading through exasperating portions of the book, because the end was ON. POINT. So, perhaps foolishly, I figured this book would be the same - if I just powered through the irritating parts, and the annoying as all hell characters, the end would make it all worth it. Nope. Not even a little bit. But once again I'm frustrated, because she knows how to write a damn book! All the components are there, but she missed the mark on this one. Plus, this author really has a knack for writing main characters that you want to punch right in the throat. Narration was excellent, but overall - I'd skip this one. Listen to Under Your Skin, instead.

I loved the book! I think you will too.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I would. It was one of the best audio books I have listened to so far. I am new to this and have to really check out all reviews, as I have had to return several books.

What did you like best about this story?

The back and forth between Lizzie and Zach. Is he dead? Is he alive? I didn't know until the very end. An amazing thriller. Highly recommended!

Have you listened to any of Penelope Rawlins and Daniel Weyman ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

This is my first. I look forward to more.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I could not wait to continue listening every chance I got. Very addictive audio book. Suspenseful, great narrators, storyline.

Any additional comments?

I cannot say enough great things about this audio book. Highly recommended! I would like to hear what others have to say about this great listen!

Good not great

The main character is very frustrating and naive, the story becoming a tiring track of PTSD.

Save Your Money..!!

Save your money or credit..
If they had condensed it down into an hour long novella it STILL would have been tedious going...
Too long ..waiting for something to happen was a mistake,.. and a waste of my time.

Mixed feelings

I really enjoyed this book. I listened to It in just over a day. The story was good and kept me guessing. Then, there was a little “side story” that came to light that I didn’t like, just grossed me out. Then, the ending fell flat. I thought the story was pretty good but the ending was lackluster.

Not very good characters not very relatable

It wasn't bad- I just never connected with any of the characters- the woman was too ridiculous and a bit standoffish so I never grew to care what happened to her- the only thing I cared about was the dog

Just Okay

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

Probably not. It took me weeks to get through, simply because I wasn't excited to get back into listening. It wasn't awful but I have other books I like much better.

What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?

The ending was definitely the best part. It had some greats twists I didn't see coming, and there was a definitive ending which I liked. The whole set up for the ending was just dragged out and repetitive for me.

What about Penelope Rawlins and Daniel Weyman ’s performance did you like?

I think they did an amazing job. I could always tell who was speaking by the subtle changes in their voices.

Could you see Remember Me This Way being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?

I can see maybe a movie. They'd have to add a little more action, but it could be interesting enough.

The best book I listened to in a long time. I'm so glad I didn't read any comments from anyone.

kept me guessing

I like suspense, and this one kept me guessing. there was one story plot we learn at the end of the novel I really could have done without. ewww (I won't spoil it) overall, the writer has a good sense of suspense.
