Written in an expanded realistic approach.

I enjoyed the way the author;not only follows biblical events in chronological order, but I was impressed the way the author expounds and magifies biblical principal with that of the new Testament principles. Very well read by narrator.

Great Book on Old Testament Leaders

Would you consider the audio edition of Patriarchs and Prophets to be better than the print version?

If you are looking for an audio edition of Patriarchs and Prophets, this is the one I would recommend. There are others available, but the quality of this recording is the best I've heard. If you are trying to decide between a print copy and an audio copy of this book, I would say, go with whichever one you will actually use.

Have you listened to any of Eddie Hernandez’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I have The Great Controversy and The Desire of Ages by Eddie Hernandez and they are all very good quality audiobooks.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I enjoy this book because it brings the old testament to life. Patriarchs and Prophets is a bit long to listen to straight through, but it does keep my interest. I highly recommend this book.

Excellent - prepare for details!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

This book provides a historical narrative with simultaneous commentary as you go along. It is unique and very informative. But it is very detailed, so prepare for a good listen. Not for those who want a quick overview.

Beautiful devotion on the Old Testament

While the narration was a literal reading of the source material, it was easy to understand and listen to.

The story was incredibly enjoyable. It was like a behind the scenes devotional of Old Testament stories.

Some may find the reading or verbiage difficult to listen to, I truly enjoyed it!

History of Old Testament, up to Solomon

Best study book that quotes from the Old Testament continually, of the first half of the Old Testament you will ever find, written by a Christian woman. This divinely inspired author, like so many of our great Christian authors, is particularly gifted by the Holy Spirit in writing this first sequel, dedication to scripture. She does not wander from the biblical accounts, but with Devine light shares in short the clear points with great light. I have been greatly blessed by this books and all the others by this woman of God. So have many others. I highly recommend her readings, as they point to the greater light, which is the story of the love of our Savior, Jesus Christ.

Very Enlightening

This is a very enlightening book filled with spiritual information. It shares biblical true stories and takes them further through the special eye of prophetess Ellen White who was gifted by God Himself and chosen from a young age. You will be blessed to listen to this book on Audible. Know that Audible has available other of her writings.

This is just reading of the Old Testament with many mistakes

I expected to have the Old Testament without mistakes and coming to live, but this is just reading of the Old Testament with many mistakes and no life in it. It is no more than a sermon from an overbearing priest who is looking for nodding audience. It was not the type of book I would read or listen to.
