Loved it and I would read it again and again

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes. Anyone who loves their precious animals. It helped me when I lost my Bobby so expectantly. There has to be more beyond this life and Sylvia Browne does such an excellent job of explaining the beauty and the joy of what we have to look forward to. Knowing we will see our beloved pets makes it that much easier to say goodbye. for now.

What other book might you compare All Pets Go to Heaven to and why?

I don't know of another book that compares.

Heartwarming, inspirational and healing

I have always loved Sylvia Browne and what she does with her amazing psychic abilities. I found this book very comforting and healing after the sudden crossing of my beloved cockatiel Gwen. Whether you believe in what she does or not, Sylvia's book is just wonderful. It will warm your heart and touch your soul. I have rad several books on pet loss, but this one has provided me with the most solace and comfort by far.

Needed an editor

Is there anything you would change about this book?

Good if you want a positive view of heaven where you will see your pets. However book and narration needed an editor and a director. Ignorant generalities about breeds and narrator kept pronouncing the breed shih tzu like the massage shiatsu. So annoying. Recording cut out and failed with about 30 minutes remaining and I didn't contct tech support because I really did not care to hear more.

Far too Emotional

What would have made All Pets Go to Heaven better?

This seems to have been written to appeal to the emotional feelings of pet owners. There is no evidence of anything.

Too many statistics

Sylvia was impressive in her day but many newer. Books have been published that give more information about what it is like for animals on the other side.

Not what the title indicates

Yes it’s about animals but there’s no direction in this book. It ranges from spirit animals, animals in ancient Egypt, sprit guides in general, I do not recommend it.

Mixed feelings

if you're an animal lover& especially if you've lost a beloved fur baby & chances are good that you have if you're reading or listening to this book, it can possibly be a real comfort. in my humble opinion, a lot of what Sylvia says is spot on.Such as how animals are MUCH smarter, deep feeling, sensitive, sentient, etc, then we give them credit for. And if a lot of what she says about them going straight to heaven, etc, IS true, then yes, this is all a great comfort. With that being said, there is a LOT of repetition in this book. And for quite some time in the beginning to approximately the middle of the book it is more of a history lesson then about animals "going to heaven " I suppose, over all its a decent read/listen. Other than what I've mentioned previously. It's as though, in order to fill space (not be TOO short a book) a bunch of stuff that is really irrelevant was added & the repetition a space filler as well. So, if you can tolerate these things then ... you're good to go!

Not as expected

I expected this to be more as the title suggested. Instead it was a history of ancient animals/pets. I really enjoy Sylvia Browne's books, but I am struggling to get through this one.
