Our gut is almost as important to us as our brain, yet we know very little about how it works. Gut: The Inside Story is an entertaining, informative tour of the digestive system from the moment we raise a tasty morsel to our lips until the moment our body surrenders the remnants to the toilet bowl. No topic is too lowly for the author's wonder and admiration, from the careful choreography of breaking wind to the precise internal communication required for a cleansing vomit.

So many OPTIONS....finally relaxing sleep!
I purchased this over a month and a half ago....I can't believe the options. The ocean waves and waterfalls with the tones are my favorite so far. I love the smooth transitions leaving my sleep unterrupted. I listen to this every night and it is so relaxing. I even took a nap the other day and set the timer.....and I peacefully awoke when it stopped. Really enjoy the love and thoughtfulness that was put in this product. Thank you!

The perfect calming background track
I have been using this for background noises mostly when I sleep, but I have also tried it as a backing track when I am getting some work done when I'm not in the mood for upbeat music. This also works quite well as background for meditation. The format is simple, but brilliant. You get access to different sounds in nature, either with tones layered in or without. The start of each program also includes a few minutes of guided visualization and you get to choose whether you want a female or male voice. Lots of options for you here and it is the perfect background sounds to have when you are in need of peaceful and soothing vibes.

Sleep Well in 2024!
This book doesn't take a one-size-fits-all approach. Instead, it provides a variety of guided meditations, allowing readers to find the imagery that best suits their preferences. Whether you find yourself sinking into a bed of soft clouds or drifting off on a calm ocean current, the book's descriptions are vivid and inviting.
The inclusion of nature sounds adds another layer of relaxation. Gentle rain, rustling leaves, or calming ocean waves can effectively mask distracting noises and lull you into a peaceful state.
"Relax, Imagine, Sleep" is a valuable resource for anyone struggling with sleep issues. Its easy-to-follow meditations and calming soundscapes can gently guide you towards a good night's rest.
However, it's important to note that the book may not be a magic bullet. For chronic sleep problems, consulting a healthcare professional is recommended.
Overall, "Relax, Imagine, Sleep" is a well-crafted resource for promoting relaxation and sleep. Its combination of guided meditations and nature sounds creates a calming atmosphere that can help you drift off to dreamland.

So Soothing
This is my new at-my-desk-working soundtrack. I love it! It helps me focus and I feel more relaxed. This is a generous offering with your choice of five different soundscapes (waves, stream, rain, waterfall and fireplace + wind) with the option of having additional tones layered on top of the natural sounds.
I don't love the narrators or the guided imagery content but then I'm not using this to fall asleep so that's unimportant to me.
