Publisher's Summary

Considering Jesus' relational model for choosing the 12 disciples, Relational Intelligence will walk you through how to assess your relationships, define them, discern them, align them, and finally activate your relationships to unlock your greatest potential.

Years of ministry leadership experience and personal experience have convinced Dr. Dharius Daniels: There's no such thing as a casual relationship. All relationships are catalytic - either pushing us forward into our God-given purposes or holding us back. Our spiritual, physical, financial, emotional, and professional progress is greatly impacted by who we allow to be a part of our lives and what part we allow them to play. With our destiny on the line, relationships are too consequential to nonchalantly roll the dice in managing them.

Relational Intelligence is your action plan for getting smart about your purpose partners. Relationships were God's idea, writes Daniels, and when we understand and apply what God has to say about them we end up avoiding unnecessary relational turmoil, advancing in all areas of our life, and accomplishing our God-given purpose.

When your purpose is on the line, the cost of relational unintelligence is too great to pay. In this audiobook, you will explore and learn how to activate the relational intelligence you need for the life of purpose you want.

Relational intelligence assessment tools are available in the audiobook companion PDF download.

Fantastic book, not so great reader

This book blew my mind and has fundamentally influenced the ways I engage and interact with others. I have examined all of my relationships in light of this book and I can’t stop thinking about the idea that we should love everyone but we don’t owe everyone access. Wow. When I finished it, I immediately wanted to read it again and I’ve recommended it to everyone.

However, I could barely stand the narrator. Woof. He mispronounced words throughout (?!!!) and I did not like his pace at all. I think Dr Daniels missed a wonderful chance to perform his own work and sadly, there are some moments that are certainly lost in translation.

Teaches how to be a good steward of relationships

Loved it!
Exceptional framework and content.
Teaches how to manage life or relationships in a fruitful way: communication with kindness and clarity. Applications definitely helps become a better steward of time and emotions.
Love that so many biblical examples as well as examples from Dr Daniel 's life experiences provided reference. Finished in one sitting for enjoyment...now I'm re-listening in several sessions to apply where needed. Thank you very much for writing this book!!!

Great Content!

I will definitely listen to this book again. There are so many things we can use in our day to day lives. If what he shares is taken to heart, we will begin to build healthier and more fulfilling relationships. I've always said life is about choices, and this book tells me that there are choices that can be made in how we relate to others. We can't change their character, but we can choose how or if we will have a relationship with them.

Must Read!!

I loved this book! I wish I read this in college. The discernment of our relationships; friends, acquaintances, advisors and others. I’ve definitely been burned by considering my acquaintances as friends. I loved how he had scriptures to back up his statements. It’s a wonderful thing to see the Bible applied to life not just on Sunday mornings. This is absolutely going on my annual book list.

A must read

There’s no doubt that when Dr.Dharius approaches a topic that He does it in such a way that he covers the factors that you weren’t thinking about! The book is brilliant. We all interact with people all of the time.... so knowing how to interact with ’whom’ is crucial for a high quality of life. I definitely took notes, and I'm practically reassessing my whole life.
