Great story, great characters, narration lacks.

Great story, great characters, the one issue I have is with the narration. The narrator, or rather the narrator's voice doesn't fit with the majority of characters, especially the main character, James Brownstone, to the point where it makes the series seem silly or goofy instead of full of action, adventure, magic, danger, and badassness, that is Mr. Brownstone.

Another great book in a great series, I love this series and am excited there will be 12 books. I don’t have time to read the books so I’m a huge Audible junkie and can’t wait for the next books is all the MA universe series to come out on Audible so PLEASE KEEP THEM COMING!

Another great book

Love this entire series!! This collaboration between Mr. Anderle and Ms. Carr is awesome. Brownstone is a simple character that is going to evolve into something awesome. I can feel it. Only finished the second book and am hooked. Gonna go broke buying all the audible books for this series. 22 books!!! Oh well, can’t take it with me lmao.

unbelievable lol

Well this book was pretty much a direct continuation of the first book. I really like both Shae and Allison they definitely add new complications to James's life. Truly clueless one minute and wise the next. Be looking forward to the next audio.

swords, zombies and bounties

Interesting. Another dose of Shay the Archeological Treasure Hunter a la Indiana Jones. And Brownstone dealing with Zombie attack a la Anita Blake #2 The Laughing Corpse and #5 Bloody Bones, except he was on the receiving end; but both as the “good guy”.
Yes, I’ll check out more in the series.
Rudd does a good job of narration for the book and series.

Well written, spicy dialogue, engaging characters,
imaginative plot lines, what's not to like??
Police, and local street gangs are thoughtfully
included in plots, The priest and professor and
irish humor made me laugh!
