Nice main character
I like the fact that the author managed to create a different main character that isn't James. I think that's important for this series. I really like the plot which seems to be more and more difficult these days.
I also really like the captain and Anna, BV Larson really hits the sweet spot for these type of characters.
Can't wait for book 3!
And of course Mark Boyette delivers impeccable work as always.

Growth of lead character
It was well written the growth of the character from dull to character and morality, hopeful mutation will increase his intellectual capability, making him a viable main character in the future

“The Expanse Light” in all the right ways

Red company kicks cyborg/pirate ass!
Loved to progression of the story and the exploring alien tech and going thru a worm hole. The captain sure is one tough woman. The battles with the pirates were well written. Looking forward to book three
