Forgot this was a Trilogy and I’m so sad to have to wait for the next book. I knew how it would end before it ended but it doesn’t make it any easier.

Kai is my forever book boyfriend

Loved this story ! Kept me interested the entire time, same with the first book … now I’m shattered trying to wait on fearless to come out 😩😖 needless to say I finished this book in one weekend. And I waited a week after reading the first for this to come out and now it’s over waaayy too quit.

THIS SERIES 💕

I always know a book is going to be good when the majority of the comments talk about waiting for the next book and now I am one of those people. Waiting for the last book is going to be soooo hard. This has quickly become one of my favorite series. I thought I knew where the ending was going but boy was I wrong!

Angsty + Trope heaven!

The absolute angst in this book is all I needed and more.

“This kiss is deep and anything but tender. It is betrayal. It is bitterness. And nothing has ever tasted so sweet. It is ruin.”

Lauren writes such a unique MMC, he almost felt too vulnerable at first. What initially felt a bit corny developed into one of the most admirable, witty, well spoken MMC's I've read in a long time. We have to protect Kai at all costs. Such a quotable character. I really love how badass Paedyn gets to be in some of the duel, fighting, and attack scenes. It doesn't really get old watching a strong FMC yield a crossbow. I'll leave this with saying, the ending HURT. I don't agree and will chose to believe a HEA until further notice, thank you. This was entirely a feel good, curl up in a ball, kick your feet giggling type of book. I zoomed through it. I listened to the audiobook and the voice actors delivered in a way they didn't need to. <3

Everything, from the way it started, the way the characters interacted to the way the story ended!

I loved everything and there was NOTHING I didn’t like. Because every word in the book meant something nothing else will.
