This book is crazy. The narration is amazing and the story has you on the edge of your seat the entire book. Every time you think you know what’s going to happen they pull a 180 on you and it will leave you speechless. Read it.

Love it or leave it

Leaving my actual review on goodreads, but in case someone wants to know, the audio vs the book are different. Someone else mentioned it in their comment, so I started following along and rerealized this with the forst and the second one. They occasionally leave out words, which is fine, but other times they completely change a scene. Example from the first book, the book explains her fight with blair and how she didn't get her band taken, the audio however says "the b got my band". Another one, pae waits for a healer to leave so she can escape in the book, but the audio has her knock him out and escaping with his body slumped behind her. It continues in this one, changing the days things happened, or how many times someone said something, even went as far as to changing someones name from meredith to madeline, annoyingly. Overall, I love the books and the audio was great, but I could never relax with it, if that makes sense, I was constantly waiting for the next change to be read over in my earbuds, which was unfortunate when working, because I couldn't just listen, I had to carry around my book. Which, I don't mind, I switch between physical books and audio one's, I just had to buy it twice to finish them. Anyway, hope this helps someone else.

Killed me it’s so go!

I can’t believe the romantic tension and finally two REAL characters who completely pull your heart! The narrators are amazing! I can make myself wait for book three because it can’t possibly end like this!!!! My critique would be that the author really knows how to write about love but not brotherly! For the guy whose supposed to be the most kind king ever Kitt is a complete A-hole to his brother!!!!!

Such a great storyline and use of poetry. The authors wordplay is so clever. Made me fall in love with the characters

I loved it, not as much as powerless, solely because there was more tension and action in powerless than reckless. But it was still SOOOOO good
