it was a great new twist on a great old romance story I loved everything about it.

Elizabeth Rose has written another great book
that takes us through a journey.

Enjoyed this story

I enjoyed the pace of this book. The adventure and meeting of Mira and Jacob flowed well. The series continues......

A can't miss!!

Maira is a warrior and has no desire to be married, the late King granted each of the bastards daughters the right to approve their betrothed spouses.
When she is told she is to marry the High Sheriff, she finally agrees to spend a fortnight with him before she turns him down outright.
When she does meet him, she quickly decides he is not a man she would agree to marry.
Elizabeth Rose again weaves an absorbing story that makes you want to know what is happening next and keeps you reading until the story is done. This series is as wonderful as the rest of her stories!
Kevin E. Green has a wonderful voice and he makes the characters come alive.

Rebellious Secrets

The 3rd book in the series is about Lady Maira Douglas eldest daughter of Rowen one of the Legendary Bastards of the Crown and Sir Jacob Quincey. I thought it was well written and I enjoyed listening to this story. Kevin E Green does a very good job of making it come to life. You have mystery, murder, abuse, loyalty, love, secret passages and so much more. I recommend any book by Elizabeth Rose and you should not be disappointed.

Captivating Story

This is such a great story. It immediately captured my attention & took my on a wonderful adventure.
I highly recommend this story.

Revenge is sweet

I thoroughly enjoyed this book (audio version) with it's interesting cast of characters, the sweet innocent girls, the girl who would be a warrior, the badly treated former knight and of course the evil high sheriff. Every time a plan was made something would happen to change it so it was interesting trying to work out how things would finally play out in the end. If you enjoy these stories I think you will enjoy this one.

I love Elizabeth Rose’s stories! They are exciting and full of adventure and love. Myra is another member of the Secret Hearts that knew how to use a sword.
Kevin E Green is a great narrator! He can use his voices to keep you interested.

A great story about two characters who are a lot of fun. Kevin E Green gives a great performance that keeps your attention throughout the audiobook.
