Fantastic read and listen

I loved this book and series when I first read a few years ago. The narration was spot on. Loved it.

Fantastic story! I loved it!

A fantastic well written story that has the most intriguing characters, both with their own emotional pasts. Jacks loss of his beloved husband Martin has him still seeing and talking to him. Martin seems to pop up everywhere trying to talk Jack into moving on and finding love again. Jack however keeps telling him it’s just not going to happen. It however is out of his control the moment he pulls the sexy Rebel over on a traffic stop! Rebel’s horrible parents and childhood memories push him to extreme reckless methods to cope. Jack realizes the severity of the situation and decides Rebel is worth everything to him, including his job to keep him safe. Rebel Yells is definitely a sweet steamy hot romance full of twists, turns, and surprises that will have you enthralled with Jack and Rebel’s journey! I’m really looking forward to more from author Rain Carrington and I’m sure I’ll listen to this audiobook again! I also thought that narrator Bump Turgeson and his deep sexy voice definitely brought these characters to life adding extra heat to them and this awesome story! Magnificent performance!

EVERYTHING I ANTICIPATED AND MORE

This story so opened my eyes. I found in this book my love of Rain Carrington's writing style and storytelling. She opened up a world that I never gave much thought to. The relationship between Jack and Rebel was completely unique to me. Giving these characters a physical voice must be a daunting choice. The narrative Bump Turgeson gave to these two beloved characters is outstanding. It takes me awhile for the voice to jell with the tones I imagined when I read the book myself. I thought Mr. Turgeson gave them more character, especially Jack. I enjoyed this book sooo much I listened to it in one sitting. I'm so happy that Rain Carrington had this story brought to audio, this has always been a favorite book and series for me. The following books only get better from here. So many great stories, characters and situations that broadened my imagination. This is a MAGNIFICENT Book I will listen to over and over. I hope that the rest of the series is recorded . I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK!!!!!

Love this series

This is probably one of my favorite series, and I’m so happy I got to visit Apishipa Creek in audio
If I had to pick on something the narrator might sound a bit mature.

Nice but the wrong narrator

I could not finished the audible the narrator was a BIG TURN OFF something about his voice and he seem not to be able to do but one voice for all characters. Most narrators can change the tone of their a little for each character but he could not and his voice really made mr cringe. The story may have been a better read than audible but from the blurbs it sound like it would have been awesome.
