One of the Best Books I've Ever Listened to

I loved absolutely everything about this book! Depth of characters, relationship development, the kinky aspects, and just the way the story flows are perfect. New to me narrator does a perfect job of telling the story with emotion and distinct differences between characters. Very highly recommend!

Amazing narrator! His Phoenix made me want to sob and hug him, he knows how to express feelings with his voice! Great story to start a new family of characters in a new town.

Exceptional!!

My heart ached for the abuses Phoenix suffered, but it was a godsend that Perry kicked him out after 7 years.It gave him a second chance he desperately needed. By the end of the story he showed massive growth that I was happy about.
I liked that Gian was a flawed imperfect man with a good heart. It humanized him and made him more relatable, and I liked him. This was a complete emotional journey. The ending was a game changer, and I loved it all!!! I still feel the aftershocks of listening to this. Wow!!! I highly recommend this book. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator did a spectacular job bringing the characters and story to life.

My sweet baby phoenix

The temptation in this audio is so good. I love the characters, and I'm super happy with the ending. Phoenix went through so much, and I'm happy with perry's comeuppance. The spicy level is about a 4/5. The narrator did an amazing job with both main and side character. You will definitely meet some of the bosses from others books but you don't need to read them first.

Intriguing

This was a wonderful read. I loved the storyline it was interesting and original. Father Gian was a very interesting character and I loved Phoenix. The characters are very good together and the ending was good. The narration was really good too.

Good for the Soul

I loved this one so much! You could feel the pain Phoenix suffered, but also the healing, all because of Father Gian. It's so beautiful to witness. This pair is good for each other.

Narration truly brought this story to life, and I'm here for it.

Love, Protection and Redemption!

This starts out and my heart is breaking so hard for Phoenix. He is so innocent, sheltered and abused for trusting the wrong man so young. I need him to find love and safety and Father Gian is the man even if he is not a perfect man himself! Gian is trying to redeem himself after the horrible way he had been living his life, but he cannot get away from his mob family and their business. I could not stop reading because Gian and Phoenix are so wonderfully adorable together but with Gian's rough and dangerous family against them, I did not see how they were going to make it!! I am looking forward to more with this mob family. I appreciated that they were written realistically dark, some very unlikable at times, yet still there is love and hope underneath! Conan is a new narrator for me, and he was perfection with the voices in this audible!!

Wow

This was an amazing story. It was heartbreaking to see Phoenix suffer from domestic abuse and the after effects. His refused Father John a repented mafia priest ,tries to live a Godly life while having desires for Phoenix.. The narration was excellent which the charters realistic. I received this audible for honest review

A new favorite!

I knew I could love this audiobook, as I adored the ebook, but Conan Kennedy really brought this book to life. Gian and Phoenix were performed with such emotion, I could feel the pain and love throughout the entire story. Such heat, depth and a fantastic story. I’ll listen over and over!

Great story and narration!

Such a beautiful and at times painful love story. The narrator was wonderful! Great story that I’ll listen to again.
