Oh my!

Lex has become my favorite! Hard to pick between the Dirty, Players and Vancity boys, but Lex “snuck up on me”.

Connor Crais' chapter was the best part for me.

Decent story/action in some places. Liked the childhood pact part. Beyond that opening chapter about when they were kids, I never found Talia likeable. Lex was at least somewhat interesting. Again, story was too long. Honestly, I bought this because Connor Crais was listed as a narrator. (I figured he would voice Lex's brother/cousin, Dane, but no. Regardless, Connor's chapter was my favorite.) Also, I like Stella Hunter, and think she did the best she could with the Talia character. I haven't heard Lee Samuel's before, but his performance was kind of stiff/unemotional.
I would breakdown the narration as follows:
Connor -- 5/5 stars; Stella 4/5 stars; Lee 3/5 stars for Performance of 4/5 stars.

Jaine Diamond never disappoints

Another sexy couple from Jaine Diamond. This story begins in the distant past then travels to the present. There is angst, drama, romance and lust culminating in a satisfying ending.

It's good to be the bad girl...

I have read this book before but this was my first time to listen to the book and that definitely brought the book to life. Lex tried to not love most of his life, only to realize he loved so many and did so much to protect others. I thoroughly enjoyed seeing Lexington and Natalia as children and how they evolved.

A BEAUTIFUL LOVE STORY WITH A V-E-R-Y TWISTED ROAD

Previously, I’ve loved this oh so talented author’s Dirty and Players series.. but JD has seriously upped her game with this epically twisted and absolutely compelling story which, imo, has to be the best she’s ever ever done. Lex is a biker with an estranged manipulative Mafia father whom he hates - but blood ties lead to ultimatums.. sacrifice.. kidnapping.. intrigue.. a no win deadly situation involving the woman he dare not claim.. and betrayal of a brotherhood all lead to a very short future for poor Lex. Talia is a woman drawn to the cute boy who stole her heart when she was just ten.. and sixteen years later he’s the flame that burns every time she tries to get closer.

Intense chemistry is here in spades along with suspense, danger, sex, thrilling and chilling oh shit and just shit situations that somebody’s gonna pay for. But, when the tale of the rebellious Devil’s son is being written by an author who’s honed her skills to absolute perfection, you’re guaranteed the tale will be awesome.. and it was. With angst, action, conflict, heartache, humor, heart, passion, chemistry, sexual combustion, edge of your seat danger, twists, triumph and all the feels you’d been hoping for… and much much more. A beautiful love story that had to journey through layers of Hell and some VERY rocky roads between a tight MC brotherhood and Mafia mayhem.

Worth a credit? Ha, that’s easy.. it’s an each and every way YES. Because the story was unique and thrilling, the web and world-building didn’t lack a thing, the characters were juicy, well fleshed out and solid and the flow and pace through the chaos was perfect. And it was all masterfully brought to life by Lee and Stella (with a cameo part by Connor) whose skilful narration created a five star compelling and very delicious listen.

Holly shit..

Now I did the first book Handsome Devil and i loved it. Was waiting for this book to come too, I loved Dane story and Lex was something I thought would wrap the first book in nice box. Well damn did it, plot was amazing the love story perfection, Tal was a badass.
The narration was top notch people.
Totally recommend this series!

Epic

This was the most in depth book and I loved every twist and turn. kept me wanting more and I love their love story mixed in with the lifestyle they both live. Enjoyed the yummy moments too.

Amazing Author

I have read most of Jaine Diamonds books and each one is better then the last. I am glad I can download them so I can listen to them again. Amazing story lines!!!
