Publisher's summary

Weddings, funerals, baptisms, and Sunday mornings are never dull. In this book Bruce Goettsche, who has served in the same church for almost 40 years, shares the inside story of what it is like to serve as a minister. Some stories are hilarious, some are heartbreaking. This is a wild and fun ride through the back halls of what really goes on in the church.

Ready for Anything

Reading this book by Bruce Goettsche was a delight, not only because I personally know the author, but because I have shared in some of the stories he recounts. Bruce writes with the sensitivity of a tender-hearted shepherd who genuinely loves his flock. Thanks, Bruce, for making us laugh and cry with you as you share your heart for your people.
