The Joy

The joy portion was most helpful. I can’t wait to try out these suggestions he made. Overall this book was excellent and would recommend it to anyone who desires to grow.

Best book on leadership ever!

The authors did a fantastic job integrating brain science and leadership principles. Their personal stories help to apply the material to one's life. Love the application and assessment parts. For anyone leaving anyone from their family to large organizations.

The most applicable book since 7 habits

I read this book a year ago and have used it regularly to bring me back to Joy, act like myself, remain relational and enduring hardship. I've been a business leader for 20 years. Like anyone else I've had challenges in the past year and this book has helped me immensely to overcome and succeed as a leader. Not since reading the 7 habits 15 years ago have I used a book so regularly to be a better person and ultimately a better leader. The authors share their own trials and victories, which is very helpful. They give context for issues, showing their years of experience in coaching others. A great resource for leaders at any level.

I immediately found this useful. Great combination of practical application with a framework for understanding what’s going on under the surface.
