A disturbingly dark yet delightully steamy delight

I don't even know where to start with this review. I'm amazed at how much was put into this story that seems on the shorter side. It was an amazing ride, it delivered on steam, action, and believe it or not even laughter. I was just stunned and in awe of this deliciously dark nugget of a book. I highly reccomend it. But it is a bit dark so beware.

Absolutely delightful..& kinda hot 🔥 🫦😉

It's a short book but it's worth every penny! I wasn't sure when I read other reviews saying it was cute and funny. I'm always on the hunt for dark, taboo, and darker. I'm not sure how but this story was just amazingly satisfying! It's violent and graphicly sexual and light years away from anything even vaguely PC. The crazy thing is that it was funny and sweet and cute! Great HEA ending leaving you feeling all “awww.”Somehow this book manages to combine all those aspects without being an overly dramatic, cutesy, happy go lucky heap of juvenile ridiculousness.
This story more than satisfied. Dark, taboo, and sexual enough to keep my jaded attention. Sweet and fresh/original enough to make me feel less jaded!
Absolutely worth the money or credit. It’s going onto my favorites list for sure. I think this may become one of my go-to relistens.
If your still on the fence- just do it! Go for it! Seriously! Get the book, it's great. You'll be happy you did

Unexpected

Totally unexpected story and there is no damsel in distress in which made the story seem more interesting and genuinely entertaining. I really enjoyed the story and the narrator did a great job!

I Enjoyed It

I really enjoyed this book. The premise was so much fun! Astoria was a complete sociopath and being in her head was the most interesting. She had no compassion or consequences for her actions. She could murder someone for standing there and not feel any remorse. Yet she looked sweet and beautiful as an angel. I completely loved her. As for Blackmane, he's done bad stuff and I didn't really like him throughout the book.

I listened to this on audiobook narrated by Aaron Smith. He did an excellent job with the different voices- the grittiness of Blackmane, the even-toned guards, the high class softer-sounding princess. It was easy to forget one narrator was doing it all.

Absolutely Hysterical

This was alien abduction with a humorous twist. The abducted earth woman was more than the aliens thought they were getting. She proves to be more deadly than the fiercest alien. I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this book. Loki Senate's books never fail to entertain me. Aaron Smith's narration is absolutely delicious.

Dark! and Hilarious!

This was my first Loki Renard's book, and won't be my last. This Dark Alien Romance is different than what I have listened to before, and I enjoyed it! The characters are unique, and refreshing! Blackmane, the warlord of the Pleiades, is ruthless, dominant, powerful, and determined. His captured pretty little monster, princess Astaria, is feisty, strong, reckless, and sassy. They are both fantastic characters. The chemistry is sizzling hot. The storyline is well written, captivating, fast-paced, dark, funny, steamy, and very original. I liked the dark humor in the story. Aaron Smith did an excellent job at narrating. If you like humorous Dark Alien Romance, this one is for you. I need more! I highly recommend it. #PFPAudio

Fantastic story

This is an interesting interracial love story that was fun to listen to and kept me interested throughout the story

Hilarious!!

Short and funny! Different world views clash in space/fantasy. Gotta love a heroine who is more deadly than the hero, concealing weapons everywhere on her person! A different take on Camelot! The narrator did a superb job!

Fantastic Read!!!

I came across this book while looking for my next read. A new to me author, the book was tagged as romance and the cover (which I love, by the way) with an alien warrior caught my attention. I jumped in without reading the summary.
While I do enjoy a good alien romance story, I was expecting something typical to what I've been reading lately. However, I was quickly and pleasantly surprised that this story has a deliciously deviant twist on the "damsel in distress." I absolutely loved it and loved that it made this alien romance stand out amongst a sea of others!
Really just an amazing read, lots of steamy spice and phenomenal audio narration!!!
Highly recommend this one!
