Publisher's summary

Gifted children are as special as any other child. The difference is how they progress faster and need more challenges in their life. Most parents do not have the knowledge of what to do to help their gifted child excel to their fullest potential. We want our kids to be kids, but what we also want for them is to be the best that they can be while growing up as a child.

In this audiobook, we have compiled all of the necessary skills and information for you as the parent to help your child succeed in life without the child getting bored and losing focus. There is a fine line to raising gifted children, that is why we have published this audiobook. Every child, especially gifted ones need to grow and learn at their own pace. We show you how to let your child loose to gain such knowledge and still have control over their childhood until they become independently on their own.

Helpful to teach parents about kids

I have not listened the whole book yet, but what I have listened until now is very interesting and it helps you know more about the brain and it helps you face your kids tantrums and to recognize if it's real or just doing like that because they want something that you don't want to give them.

Well researched audio book

Listening to this book changed my teaching practice and my life for the better. This information is so important for anyone working with or parenting children to know! Very well researched, professional, practical, and a departure from the way many of us were parented.

Help Your Gifted Child

This is one of the best books I’ve ever listened on parenting. The book helps you understand why your child says and does certain things by helping you understand how their brain works during certain age periods. I often find myself going back and rereading certain chapters for help and guidance and it helps me every time.

This is one of my favorite parenting books

This is one of my favorite parenting books. I used to get so frustrated with my boys because I thought that they were constantly choosing to be irrational but this book helped me to what's really going on in their brains and how they honestly cannot always control their behavior. I also learned how I can help them from going into chaos and how to bring them back when they were already in chaos.

It is easy to listen!

I really liked this book, it does give some great tips on understanding the child's developing brain and strategies for how to get children to think about their feelings in productive ways.

Definately worth listen!

I'm a grandmother and am learning a whole new approach to raising "kids" (i.e, my grand kids, their friends, my friends' kids and grand kids). I understand children and am able to help them process experiences and understand themselves so much better because of the information in this book.

Love this book!

The book offers tremendous knowledge of the science of a child’s brain. At times it was a bit hard to stick to it. I think if it followed a more age related format like from infancy up it may have been easier to follow. Instead it jumps all over from different age groups. The skills are useful for everyday life. Nothing out of the ordinary, nothing super difficult to use. It just takes the time to implement the skills and willingness to know it won’t be overnight changes.

Awesome quick reference book

Very informative book about child brain patterns and How to help your child through the rough patches in life. It touches on all different age ranges and my favorite part is the little cheat sheet in the back of the book for when you need a quick reference on how to handle a certain behavior.
