This is a really great book

This book is not what I was expecting. I don't know what I was expecting, but it definitely surpassed whatever those expectations were. There were just so many nuggets and other gems of truth to draw from, in the pursuit of a deep relationship with God.

I have to listen to it again. It's very likely that other listeners would have to do the same. It was such a barrage of truth, great advice, and information that to just listen once would be to short yourself.

The book will encourage you to seek a relationship that is beyond the surface with God through Jesus Christ. It points out the importance, and benefits of incorporating perspective, gratitude, praise and worship, not just as rituals to involve ourselves in, but to be part of who we are.

What a beautiful portrayal of what a life committed to Christ looks like in the world.

It can help you have perspective on life's challenges, and help you incorporate gratitude and worship in your daily lives. Wow, "Rainbow of the Soul" hit me right in the feels. I listened during my daily commutes and found myself tearing up, laughing, and nodding in agreement all in one trip. The author's raw and honest account of life’s highs and lows, tied together with beautifully chosen scripture, felt like warm rays of sunshine after a heavy downpour. The discussions on God's way of communicating and the realness of life's blessings and challenges struck a chord. If you've ever had those late-night, soul-searching chats with a dear friend, this audiobook feels just like that. Can't recommend it enough.

Reminds me how God must smile at us in humor

Talks about how God talks to His people, spreading the truth about giving goodness and blessings. Discusses the celebrations or the hard truths of life and how to embrace reality. Was a really good breakdown of thoughts about truth, pain and growth.

I enjoyed listening to this audiobook over and over. At this point in my life, I especially appreciated the chapter "Take Heart!". So many times in our everyday struggles we forget to feel grateful, courageous, and hopeful and trust Jesus in the fog of fear and doubt. The personal examples provided by Donesa are very relatable. This book will reinforce your faith and color your days like a rainbow!

This book is full of many lessons that can help you grow spiritually and some parts of the story are quite relatable - this book shows me that there is always opportunity for growth. There are so many qualities that can become stumbling blocks. This author demonstrates what we need to do to rid ourselves of negative traits using the word of God and real world examples.
