Publisher's Summary

The king of the underworld saved me from the streets, treated me like a princess, and locked me in a tower. Then, he turned into a beast. There's a darkness in him. I've seen it face-to-face.

He says I'm his light. But if our love is going to last, I'm going to have to be more than his princess. I need to become a queen.

Queen of the Underworld is the final chapter in Marcus and Cora's story.

Already irritated

"""""SPOILER ALERT."""Only on chapter 3, and thinking about skipping ahead to when Cora stops being an idiot. She needs to grow up and stop playing the games she says hates for Marcus to do. Hope she gets her act together soon. Ghaaaa, chapter 18 and she is now on the verge of being my last favorite heroine EVER. Her mixed signals are killing me. About to skip to the epilogue and the HEA that Cora doesn't deserve. Can't believe I've waited so long to finally get this. I'm so disappointed. 5 hrs left for her to get her (Cora) sh*t together. But not sure if she can overcome her stupidity.

Careless "too stupid to live" annoying heroine

I was excited when this book came out but Cora continues to do some really stupid things—like losing her security detail even though she knows what the stakes are. I understand that she is trying to show her independence but still does careless things that get her kidnapped. I loved books 1 and 2 but am having a hard time with this one. She leads Marcus on—loving and sexy one minute and cold the next, showing her age. I would recommend this book to get closure from the first two books and the book is well written.

Jack Calihan did an outstanding job with the narration of all three books!

Queen of the Underworld

I can't believe Cora and Marcus' story is ended! What an emotional rollercoaster of a ride! Absolutely loved this series. Stasia Black and Mee Savino sure know how to write a story!
Jack Calihan was amazing as usual. He has such a way with bringing all of the characters to life.

Loved the finale to this trilogy.

I was a little perturbed after the 2nd book as our heroine hard headedly. refused to follow common sense instructions, and repeatedly put herself at risk. Finally in this installment she grew some brains and OWNED her mistakes and the life she could have with Marcus. Jack once again hit it out of the park with his narration, nothing to fault there. I'd live to see a 4th book giving Charo his happy ending

Entertaining

I really was skeptical after Book 1, but despite myself I ended up really enjoying all 3 books. Yes, the heroine was annoying as hell at times. However, I still ended up liking her. Same thing with the performance, the narrator totally won me over by Book 2.

Love Marcus & Cora

What a totally amazing book! Can Marcus and Cora find their way out of this web of craziness? Will their love be enough? Action, suspense, drama, lies, steam, intense and best of all, Mafia. What more can n you ask for? I have loved listening to every single book! Jack Calihan is phenomenal in making this book come to life with good narration. I love his work!

I loved this series!💜

This is the third book in this series and took a little different direction than I expected but It was a fascinating ride though, and it did not disappoint!
The narration once again was amazing. His deep demanding voice takes shows he had every situation under his control, unless she’s around! She is his only weakness and I loved it! This book completes the trilogy with an HEA, however the first two books have cliffhangers and must be read in order.
I highly recommend this series!

Happy when it eneded

I listened to this book because I’d listened to book one… which ended in a cliffhanger that annoyed me, but led me to book two. Book two was underwhelming but I’d gone this far, I decided to complete the series. Out of the hundreds of books I’ve read/listened to, Cora is one of my least favorite leading women. Her immaturity, lack of common sense and indecisiveness was nerve wrecking. There were several times when I skipped her endless inner monologues and I do not feel I missed anything that added to the story. However, I was very happy when Charo told her she needed to grow up! The ending seemed rushed, as if the authors were over the series as well. Even with the ending and her accepting her new role/life (at the ripe old age of 20), it just didn’t seem to fit. I’m glad this series is finally over.

Brilliant end to a fantastic triliogy!!

Wow! This was such a great conclusion to the trilogy from Lee Savino, Stasia Black and Jack Calihan. I listened with rapt attention the whole time. So many emotions as Cora and Marcus worked out their relationship, waged war and battled their enemies. There were moments I was in tears. Moments I was screaming and ready to throw my phone across the room. It ended in wonderful fashion. I loved the concept, the way things wrapped up. Jack delivered yet another wonderful performance. He makes you feel so much especially when delivering Marcus' words. There was a scene when Sharo was talking with Cora that I had tears streaming down my face, there were so many emotions in the words and inflection. I love these two authors and anything they write! When they then have a book narrated by one of my favorite male narrators, it is simply amazing. I am thrilled that this trilogy ended so perfectly, but yet at the same time I am so devastated that it is now over. I hope they may write more from this universe!

Interesting conclusion

Cora is the biggest focus in this the final book of the series. She finds even with trying to break away from Marcus and his dark world a new beginning isn’t in the cards. Twists turns, suspense, intrigue and an acceptance of her husband’s for who he is with a HEA.
Enjoyed Jacks narration with bringing these characters to life.
