great narrating

the first two books so far have been done extremely well. The narration is really great.

Sequel continues, male narration is painful

Continuation of what you’d expect from the first book in terms of story, plot development, and characters.

Female narrator is great. Would be better if she did the full story.

Male narrator is a really poor fit in age (does not sound anywhere near his 20s) and style, which feels like an old fashioned caricature of fantasy narration. That combined with the audible breathing makes his chapters cringeworthy listens.

Please please please not this male narrator.

I’m enjoying the story line and series. I wish the stories were a little longer, but still a fun read.

Female narration is good and feels like she matches the character and personality.

Male narrator frustratingly distracts from the book every time it switches to his perspective. The voices sounds like a much older man… narrating a children’s storybook. Does not seem to match the character at all. The more I think about it, the more disappointed I feel. 🙃

The male narration was insufferable.

I’ve never had that happen to me before. I would have devoured this book otherwise but it was so. Bad. Couldn’t listen.
