Being engaged to Alex Waters, team captain and the highest paid NHL player in the league, is awesome. How could it not be? In addition to being an amazing hockey player, he's an incurable romantic with an XL heart - and an XXL hockey stick in his pants. And he knows how to use it. Incredibly, orgasmically well. Alex is the whole package and more. Literally. Like his package is insane. Total world record holder material.

Lilah isn't sure what hurt worse: the day Ethan left her to focus on his hockey career or the day he came back eight years later. With her, he was magic. They were magic. All he has to do is make her see that. Just when Lilah might finally be ready to let Ethan in, though, she finds out their reunion might have nothing to do with love and everything to do with improving his game.

After I’m arrested for throwing a raucous party, my hockey team says I have an image problem. And I need to fix it, stat. Charity work? Check. Haircut? Sure. But I draw the line at hiring my neighbor to style me. In the first place “style” shouldn’t be a verb. And I’m tired of people who’d judge me on appearances. Vera and I don’t see eye to eye on anything. She wants me to try on clothes, while I just want to remove hers. She's distractingly pretty, with soulful eyes and a sinful mouth that likes to argue with me.

Am I friends with JP Cane? Ha! That's laughable. Besides the fact that he’s adopted some far-fetched notion from the movie When Harry Met Sally that says men and women can't be friends and work together, it’s safe to say we're not friends. He's annoyingly loud, obnoxiously handsome, and has made an art out of poking all my hot buttons...multiple times a day. So you can imagine how disgruntled I am when I not only have to fly to San Francisco with him for work, but stay in the same penthouse. Yup, we're sharing the same air, 24-7. We're talking full-fledged working roommates.

I've never been in love. I've never had an orgasm, but I've faked plenty. I want to experience love. Real, passionate love. I don't want to die. It's funny what blurts out of your mouth when the plane you're on is going down, and I didn't hold back with my seat mate when my plane decided to crash. My hysterical confessions didn't faze the muscular stranger that sat beside me. In fact, he promised if we survived, he'd give me my first orgasm.

Lucas Xavier is the last person I want to spend 24 hours with, let alone two minutes. Exes are exes for a reason. In his case, for a million reasons. Because he's not only an ex-lover, he's also an ex-friend. We didn't just break up - we combusted in a spectacular bonfire of barbs and doors slammed. Nothing will change that. Not his clever wit, not his ridiculous good looks, not his unfair levels of charm. And definitely not a wild dash through the city that takes us on an accidental scavenger hunt through our past, where we stop for a tango lesson, pancakes and a visit with llamas.

I was upgraded to first class on a flight from London to New York. The food, champagne, and service were impeccable. The blue-eyed man sitting next to me, even better. He was suave and intelligent. I knew something was wrong the second she walked in the door tonight; I just couldn't put my finger on what it was. Same hair color. Same legs. Same face. Except...I look harder. Publisher's Summary
Lily LeBlanc isn't versed in the art of casual sex, but after seven years in an on-again, off-again relationship, she's definitely willing to give it a shot. And who better to try it with than her best friend's boyfriend's best friend? What could possibly go wrong?
NHL player Randy Ballistic lives up to his last name on the ice and in the bedroom. His best friend and teammate has recently given up the puck bunnies and traded them in for a real girlfriend. And she just happens to have a seriously feisty, extra-hot best friend on the rebound. Randy's more than happy to be Lily's springboard back into the dating scene. But casual sex is only casual until those pesky things called emotions get involved. Once that happens, someone's bound to get pucked over.

Jacob Morgan doing that sex scenes was SO SEXY!
I find it's really important for the voices to be pleasant to listen to even if I adore the story as much as I adore this one. When I got to the first time Jacob Morgan was reading a sexual scene I was "engaged" fully with the narration. The girl was great, though not as fun as book 1's female narrator, but Jacob Morgan has just knocked Sebastian York to my 2nd favorite male narrator. Fantastic!

My Quickie Review:
Overall: 3.75
Performance: 4.0
Story: 3.5
I think I've reached the end of this series for my interest. Overall, I enjoyed this audio of the story, but there wasn't anything amazing about the story. At one point, I even thought the dialogue between the women hit such shallow, silly lengths that they could have easily been a group of puck bunnies that they are so often making fun of. I almost stopped listening to this one at that point, but I plugged on.
This story was about Randy...one of the NHL players who has been a player in every sense of the word. The heroine was Lilly who is best known for how awful she treated the hero in the last book. They have a long distance relationship for 90% of this book...only getting together for sex every few weeks based upon the movement of the team. It's supposed to be no-strings fun. The kind Lilly needs after breaking up with her long-time boyfriend. Randy is her rebound and they are both really good with that.
It was entertaining enough...just nothing astonishingly good or engaging. It passed the time, but not much more. As a result, I think I'll probably pass on listening to the rest of this series. I'm done with it.

Violet in the first and second book was absolutely hilarious!! In this book she is made out to be a super annoying dumb bimbo instead of her usual chill hilarious self. I could barely handle listening to some of her parts. She was my fav in the first two books so that was disappointing.

I really liked Randy & Lily's book. They have a great relationship considering it is just for fun! These two are seriously hot and they have a lot less drama than the last couple. I like that this "player" knew that he had to put his player ways on hold for Lily even if it was just something they were doing until it wasn't fun anymore ;) None of the other books compare to book 1 for me but this one was a great book, just not hilarious like the 1st one ;) I enjoyed this narrator a lot too!

Story 4.5 stars
I loved Randy and Lily's story! I both listened and read this one and I think they are my favorite Pucked couple so far. I couldn't wait for their story after Pucked Up and knew the sparks would fly when these two got together. They had incredible chemistry and listening to their story unfold on audio only amplified their connection. I found their fears and concerns very relatable, especially Lily's. Even though she is about the same age as Sunny (the heroine in Pucked Up and Lily's BFF), I found her much more mature. Yes, things start off between Randy and Lily because of their physical attraction, but it was so beautiful how they gradually shifted into something more tender and sweet. I loved how they each saw themselves as broken or flawed, but to the other they couldn't be more perfect. They had fantastic banter and lots of cheeky innuendo, which helped lighten the story while also adding to the sexual tension. Randy and Lily complemented each other very well. Sure there are missteps along the way, but they made sense considering each character's history. I appreciated that the drama resolved almost as quickly as it appeared and wasn't drawn out.
I really enjoyed the narration by Jacob Morgan (swoon) and Rose Dioro. They both did a wonderful job overall with this friends with benefits romance, but I did feel that there were times their tone didn't quite match the emotion of the scene. I also liked checking in with Alex, Violet, Miller, and Sunny again, but I will admit that it's Lance who has me most intrigued. I can't wait to continue on with the series!

Disappointed!
I enjoyed Alex and Violet's story in the first book, but Violet in this story was just a ridiculous, selfish, mean girl! No class! Iris and Randy were not that interesting and the story was not helped by the female narrator! Her breathy, slow delivery was boring and annoying! I adore Jacob Morgan, but not even his talent could save this story for me! This is where I leave this series. I haven't ever given a review like this, I'm sad to do it, but it needed to be said.

Part 3, Awesome Good!!!
There are some spoilers.
I wanted to rate the girl narrator performance a 3 to 4.
But anyways this book was actually good it wasn't as hilarious as book 1 or funny as book 2, but it was too good to put down that's for sure. I knew that Randy and Lily was going to end up together in the end because they both were catching feelings for each other, especially how he was acting. With her around Alex and Benji and Carl or whatever, that fool name was.
Plus the end I thought for sure she wasn't going to end up pregnant lmao. When they didn't use a condom I was dying when Tim-Tom knocked on the door. Mess reminded me of Twilight scene with Bella and Edward with the bed situation and some other book I read where the guy actually broke the bed. I forgot what the book was called.
But I'm glad Randy found someone. Can't wait to read part 4, 4.1, and 4.5. I know it's going to be epic.
P. S. I was also glad that Randy let her give his pecker a lick. And liked it and got with someone who didn't judge how he pecker looked.

Pucked Over
I listened to the first two books at the end of last year and I enjoyed the world the author created but I just didn’t love the series like I thought I would. So I gave it some time and I came back to it. I am so very glad I did because I loved this book. Lily and Randy are my favorite couple so far. I mean Vi was pretty great but something about Lily I just connected with.
I really enjoyed all the characters and how they don’t get jumbled together like some books can if there are just too many characters. When they are together as a group your never confused as to who is with who, or who is talking I really enjoyed that because I like when the teammates and their girlfriends are all together it makes for a well-rounded story.
Randy’s insecurities makes him human to me, most romance characters are too perfect I like when they have things they are not happy about. I don’t want to read perfect cookie cutter characters. But I don’t like a lot of drama-llama either. So it really is a great balance.
I loved the narration I think it was exactly right for these characters. What I didn’t love was you could tell when they cut things out, it wasn’t a seamless audiobook. Sometimes it was downright choppy.

Fantastic continuation
Third book in the series (on Audible, I think in the book series there is a .5 in there somewhere) and it follows Randy and Lilly. Randy is a hockey player who doesn't want to turn out like his dead beat dad and Lilly is an ice skater who wasn't able to live her dreams because of her own dead beat dad.
Both battle the situation differently and go into a casual relationship for different reasons but end up finally in the same place.
I love Lilly, she is so sarcastic but then explains the sarcasm like she is so clever, no one else would understand. Cracked me up.
Randy is so super serious but the tatts and the beard and the highly sensitive personality won me over.
I loved that we got visits with the other Pucked characters and I sooooo want a Lance book. Like yesterday with that accent.
Rose Dioro and Jacob Morgan were great narrators! Rose was perfect with her Canadian accent and Jacob had the tortured soul angst down pact.

Wow I'm absolutely loving listening to these audiobooks as I thought I loved the Pucked stories before but listening to the being brought to life makes them so much more!!!!
Who couldn't love Randy Balls Ballistic??
Hes hot.. hes cheeky.. he has a beard... hes all the puck bunnies want but when he sets his sights on Lily everything changes in the blink of an eye
These pair are fantastic together.. the chemistry is insane as proved by all the big O's for Lily LOL
Jumping straight into audiobook 4 asap!

A good listen
I have enjoyed this whole series so far and this one was no exception. However, the female narrator was not the best, especially when reading in Voilets voice, she made her sound annoying, airheaded and stupid which is a shame because Violets character does not come across this way in the other books.

🎧 Randy and Lily 🎧
FWB with a few laughs along the way, but nothing unexpected or unique.
Not my favourite performance from Rose Dioro - she seems less comfortable than when in a more serious role. Jacob Morgan didn't seem to really gave it his all either, tbh.

Fun story
I read these books a long time ago so I thought I’d give the audio books a try. These books are great. They are laugh out loud, sexy and I couldn’t wait to see what they did to bring them to life. Jacob Morgan did a great job with Randy but I was disappointed with Rosen Dioro. The pauses weren’t in the right places so they sentences didn’t flow. The audible swallows and deep breaths were very off putting to the point of being annoying.
If I wasn’t a collector of books (printed and audio), I’d be tempted to return for a refund.
Dissatisfied with the narration but not the book.

Love this series
Flipping heck. Another winner in book 3 of the Pucked series. Absolutely loved this book and devoured it in a day. This is possibly my favourite of the three. Pretty much fell in love with Randy from the get go, super hot, super sexy, bearded man bun hockey player and Lily, well she was just adorable. Just coming out of a 7 year relationship Lily really doesn't need to jump into another relationship, so when she hooks up with Randy they decide casual sex is the way to go. That's all well and good until feelings start getting involved. Randy and Lily are so similar, they have similar history and are so well matched for each other. I loved catching up with all the characters from the previous 2 books, Violet especially, who still has no filter on her mouth. Jacob Morgan was perfect as Randy. I struggled a little with Rose Dioro who came across as a little whiny, and whenever she took on Violet’s voice it made me hate Violet (I normally love Violet).

some funny bits 3.5*
As expected, very sweet story. I'd read Pucked so knew some of the characters, however Violet just irritated me.
The story was lovely -straight forward romance no near death experiences, just plain old feelings and good nookie. I really like the characters and it was well narrated, the Scottish guy sounded more Irish to me but it's a hard accent to replicate, esp if your an American narrator.

Good fun
This is a nice, easy read with compelling characters. It is easy to imagine they might be real - a great mix of complexity of back story with hilarious dialogue. I love this author’s attention to detail when going for a laugh - (spoilers) moose slippers as part of the reconciliation scene took the edge off what could have been a trite part of the storyline. I loved also seeing some switch-over of characters from other books and reading about them from a different point of view.

Jacob Morgan's voice is awesome
Unfortunately this story just didn't do it for me. I did enjoy the first two however I found this story to be a little too YA.

Loveee
A sequel to Randy and Lily and their insatiable boning and a more indepth development of their character's had me emotional. parents who are toxic and project that on their kids irk me. it was so good hearing lily give Randy's dad a piece of her mind and stand in his corner. The lull and east going shenanigans of the crew is just beautiful.
