I'd recommend Crash Course first, to set the context. This was fairly heavily focused on establishing a homestead-style life, although by no means exclusively. There is also a strong coaching framework theme running throughout..and it maybe a little light on statistics, but all in all a very useful resource in preparing for future societal and economic turbulence.

This book does a phenomenal job of discussing where we are currently, where we may go, and how we can be successful when we get there. An excellent source of information.
