Brilliant work

Read this book with a 30,000 ft perspective. If you do, you will find it to be one of the most important book you’ve ever read.

A very well detail soft spoken language that reach any and all audience

Loved it from beginning to end. I went through all the emotions as if I were watching a movie

incredibly insightful

what a great read to help understand the season of history we are living through. while frightening in the potential of what we are seeing it is comforting to know that we as a peoples have been through this before and while it may bring chaos it may also bring opportunity. what a great read and way to look at the long strokes of modern history to help us understand where we are going. well worth the time to listen.

Christianity is not "linear"

So far it's a great arc but I could not help but comment on his presentation of Christianity as a linear story arc. Traditional Christianity, being both medieval western Christianity as well as Orthodox Christianity still today quite clearly reject the linear arc he presents. In Orthodox Christianity we explicitly state that "Christ was crucified before the foundations of the Earth" and men today are simply acting in accordance with those pre completed actions in the exact manner he describes for the framework of ancient peoples.

Mind blowing

Although I studied generational demographics in college, this far surpasses anything I have read. the amount of detail Howe shares really helps you see all of the cycles and how each of us fit into these different "seasons." The book is VERY long and not for the faint of heart, and you'll wonder even halfway through why you're still reading. However, I promise it all starts coming together in the last 1/3rd of the book. It's worth it!

A great update to the 4th turning

I also listened to the 4th turning. I liked how this book addressed linear vs cyclical time more completely and how had more examples in each time period from inside and out. I liked Howe as a reader. this is required reading for humans on earth. I did not see the liberal bias that other reviewers saw. the book seemed objective to me. the updates on recent political changes were also objectively handled in my opinion.

Unbiased perspective on our history and future.

This book provides deep insight about our possible future based on the study of our country’s past.

Absolutely fascinating discussion about humanity’s past, present, and future. A theory about the nature of humanity’s patterns that has been presented with very convincing evidence! Great read!!

Narrow-minded thought prison

The predictions in this book, underpinned by "The Principle of Rhythm", completely ignore the lush history of planned conflict, mindful social engineering projects, and especially the oldest form of alchemy...propaganda.
