I Enjoyed This!!!

I started listening this morning and just couldn't stop until I finished just now. The story had me on my toes guessing what would come next all the time and Skyler Morgan's voice is lovely. Soothing yet simulating enough to make sure I didn't got to sleep. He modulated and changed his voice well too.
I didn't see the end coming at all. Wham and it was in my face. Even more so I think because I was colouring and had no idea how much of the book was left.
I recommend it if you're into sc-fi and AI.
And if you are like me a noob to audiobooks, Skyler Morgan's voice is an excellent introduction. 😀

Gripping and stimulating.

Whether it's the wonderful narrative provided by Skylar Morgan, or the flowing tide of plot that threatened to rip me from the edge of my seat, Project: Perception was an enthralling tale from start to finish. For any fans of Sci-fi out there, you should definitely add this to your list of future listens.

A well-written story from a very good author

Project: Perception: Strings are Everywhere, my third read from author Joshua C. Cook. I loved the premise of the book, but Skyler Morgan’s bland narration took away from a well-written book's enjoyment Well-written epic fantasy with intriguing characters. 5-hours 33-minute/136-pages. I was given an Audible copy of this book and am voluntarily reading & reviewing it. I'll be reading more from this author, I recommend a print edition to get the most enjoyment from this book. Fascinating

How will humanity ever change. Even though technology goes ahead, why do humans stay the same. Perhaps there is someone out there to help. Loved the narrator.

Exciting Concept

I loved the beginning of this story. It totally captured my interest; however, the middle part of the story was a little flat, but then the story ended with a great twist. On the whole, I found this book interesting and entertaining. Skyler Morgan does a great job in the narration of the story. I was given a free copy of the audiobook and I have voluntarily left this review.

Project: Perception

An interesting thriller with a sci-fi take. The reveal of “The Administrator” was a twist that I didn’t totally see coming.

I was definitely entertained by this story written by Joshua Cook and narrated by Skyler Morgan.

excellent bearish future scifi

Mr. Cook has written a carefully crafted story that keeps you listening. Well paced. Good scientific extrapolation.

Started strong..and then..not so much

Full admission here. I picked this one up off the Audioboom free book page. Independent review here. This one started very strong I thought, with a clear concept, solid narration, and a story arc that moved along crisply.

Somewhere along the lines, it went off the track. Meandering, muddled plot arcs, characters behaving irrationally, it just seemed like it needed a solid editor to get it straightened out. I really wanted to like it...hell, even finish it, but I couldn't. Cook is usually a solid author, and I think with this one he misses the mark. Not recommended.

A different type of project

I did enjoy this book but felt at the end of the story the big question for me was what just happened? It is definitely not your normal type of book. I loved the first part of the book but I kind of got lost what was happening in the second part, as it jumped from character to character and situation to situation. I think I was also still expecting the first character we learnt about to come back and play a part. It still made for an interesting listening and I did understand the concept of what was happening but I guess I was expecting the bad guys to get there comeuppance and I don't think that happened in the end.
Will humans ever learn from there past mistakes, the administrator does not think so and sets in motion a plan to change the world forever. Can using social media and influencers for good really change the world and at what cost?
The narrator was good and I liked his style of narration.
