This Story Is Sexy

Publisher's Summary

What's a girl to do when a man who's countless shades of wrong feels oh-so-right?

Ambitious book editor Asha Tate is a hopeless romantic. Despite her mediocre track record with men, she believes in swooning, sighing, and the everlasting love of true soul mates. Sure, sex is okay, but she's not someone who's ever been driven by her animal urges. Until now.

When Asha stumbles upon the scorching-hot Instagram feed of someone calling himself Professor Feelgood, she falls in lust for the first time. Not only is she left panting over photos of the professor's insane body, but his angst-filled poetry about losing his one true love speaks straight to her soul.

Desperately in need of a best seller for her struggling publishing company, Asha knows the professor's potential to sell to his millions of loyal followers could be the lifeline her bosses need. However, the ink is barely dry on a book deal before she realizes she's made a terrible mistake. Sure, the professor is incredibly talented and sexier than any man has a right to be, but the man behind the persona isn't at all who she pictured. In real life, he's intense, arrogant, and infuriating, and his uncanny ability to rub her the wrong way turns her dream project into a total nightmare.

Knowing that the professor is everything she doesn't want in a man should help Asha ignore her occasional urges to mount him, but she quickly learns that explosive, unwanted chemistry can make even smart people do stupid things.

Contains mature themes.

Loved it! Hope there are more.

I have binged on the audiobooks of this series for the past 3 days and I didn't want them to end! Leisa Raven has found herself a new fan. I am in love with her stories, her pace, the chemistry build up, the way that she takes unexpected turns with her characters and that I find myself completely engrossed and engaged with her words. And the fact that Andi Arndt so expertly narrates these stories just takes it to another level. I will certainly keep a eye out for more and will dive into her backlist because I just need more. The world of romance definitely needs more of these stories. BRAVO!

FEELGOOD, INDEED!

This was a wonderful story with a beautiful happily ever after!

The main characters have known each other since childhood. They used to be best friends until their teenage years when things fell apart. They have been estranged for years, and they are now two broken souls. The mistakes they made when they were younger still haunt them, and now they hugely dislike (I would even say hate) one another.

We slowly discover what happened to make them the way they are today. They finally get to understand what they couldn't before, and it is beautiful to see them put/pull themselves together after being broken for so long.

Coming to terms with past mistakes and learning from them to give love a second chance is a wonderful thing to behold.

I couldn't stop listening to this book once I got started, and as usual, Andi Arndt did a magnificent job giving voice to these characters.

This book was worth my time and credit-money so I will highly recommend it.

5 WONDERFUL STARS!

What a moving story

Just a blissful journey of two people that have so much yet didn’t have any clue it was right in there past. Just loved this book. Guess I’m a hopeless romantic at heart, too bad I only felt this once, and never will again. Great listen either way.

I want Nan and Joanna to be my besties.

I’ve been a fan of Leisa Rayven ever since I stumbled onto the Starcrossed series. In that series I appreciated the exploration of all those dark and twisty thoughts and emotions. I would have been fine with the same heaviness in this series but instead Leisa gave us Nan and Joanna to lighten the mood. Their quirks are totally unrealistic and yet Leisa still made these characters believable in this context. So freakin’ funny! I do wish Leisa would write about those beyond their 20s (also, an editor at 25? I don’t know about that). But Andi Arndt. 💜

Romantic comedy. 1POV. HEA. Standalone.

This is a Simmering, reunited friends/enemies to lovers romance. It has some funny and cute parts in it. Of course, AA is great at the narration. There is a sweet HEA. It can be read as a standalone but there is a book previous to this one. It was a fun listen.

Loved it

I loved this book. I have listened to over a hundred audible books and this on and the proceeding book, Mr Romance are amping my top 5 favorites. The characters are realistic and witty and the narrator does them all justice. If you love a good love story that isn’t all about the sex scenes then don’t hesitate in these two.
