Publisher's summary

What's a girl to do when a man who's countless shades of wrong feels oh-so-right?

Ambitious book editor Asha Tate is a hopeless romantic. Despite her mediocre track record with men, she believes in swooning, sighing, and the everlasting love of true soul mates. Sure, sex is okay, but she's not someone who's ever been driven by her animal urges. Until now.

When Asha stumbles upon the scorching-hot Instagram feed of someone calling himself Professor Feelgood, she falls in lust for the first time. Not only is she left panting over photos of the professor's insane body, but his angst-filled poetry about losing his one true love speaks straight to her soul.

Desperately in need of a best seller for her struggling publishing company, Asha knows the professor's potential to sell to his millions of loyal followers could be the lifeline her bosses need. However, the ink is barely dry on a book deal before she realizes she's made a terrible mistake. Sure, the professor is incredibly talented and sexier than any man has a right to be, but the man behind the persona isn't at all who she pictured. In real life, he's intense, arrogant, and infuriating, and his uncanny ability to rub her the wrong way turns her dream project into a total nightmare.

Knowing that the professor is everything she doesn't want in a man should help Asha ignore her occasional urges to mount him, but she quickly learns that explosive, unwanted chemistry can make even smart people do stupid things.

Contains mature themes.

steamy romance

well written, could actually happen, kind of love story. great use of One-liners and language. Realistic sex and "bad day" scenes! like how this author can have steamy romance novel that can also make you laugh

Oh My Heart

This story is about what every human being desires and few find. It’s written with such emotion and love that one wonders if this isn’t the authors story.
Regardless, do yourself a favor and allow Andi the opportunity to bring it alive through narration. I hope it reignites the passion within you.

Great listen

The story was compelling and the narration was amazing. I love Andi! She should read most books. Or written words. Dictionaries. All words.

I want Nan and Joanna to be my besties.

I’ve been a fan of Leisa Rayven ever since I stumbled onto the Starcrossed series. In that series I appreciated the exploration of all those dark and twisty thoughts and emotions. I would have been fine with the same heaviness in this series but instead Leisa gave us Nan and Joanna to lighten the mood. Their quirks are totally unrealistic and yet Leisa still made these characters believable in this context. So freakin’ funny! I do wish Leisa would write about those beyond their 20s (also, an editor at 25? I don’t know about that). But Andi Arndt. 💜

Second book just as good as the first!

Holy cow how sweet is this book?!?!

It’s a second-chance romance and that may be my favorite trope! Definitely recommending this series to friends!!

What a moving story

Just a blissful journey of two people that have so much yet didn’t have any clue it was right in there past. Just loved this book. Guess I’m a hopeless romantic at heart, too bad I only felt this once, and never will again. Great listen either way.

Character development and continuing relationships between previous characters.

Already stated. I enjoy connecting characters. How the sisters and grandmother know each other’s thoughts is priceless.
