Story
A lot of times, when people think about success, they immediately start to think about their goals. They look at their life and start to measure their accomplishments. I then ask these people, of their goals, how many they would say they accomplish in a year or month. In most cases, they have set goals but they have no idea of the steps or work it takes to accomplish them. I tell you, although we set goals, the outcome we desire is a specific set of results. Let's look at the big picture.

Do you remember when you had your first thought of corporate America and working there? A job of high importance came to mind, maybe even wearing a suit and working in a fancy office. The sad truth in the matter of this place is, although it has its perks and benefits, it has about as much politics and as many cliques as the high school cafeteria. When thinking about life after high school we always imagined that the real world wouldn't have as many barriers.

We live in a workaholic world where everyone of us is pushed to the limit, everyone is required to always do more, and more is never enough. If you focus on mere amount of work instead of its effectiveness, you are creating with your own hands the stressful and self-destructive environment you are experiencing now.
If that is the way you feel then, don't blame the world, but your mindset.
Productivity is not about getting more things done, it’s about getting the right things done. You can still overcome this painful condition by rethinking yourself and curbing bad habits that restrain your potential. With this audiobook you will learn how to:

Great roadmap for busy professionals
I’ve long felt the need to weed out unnecessary tasks and time on my extremely busy schedule, after taking on a second full-time role. This book gets straight to the point and has helped me do that. It also has given me the history and context behind a concept I use often in my leadership teams: the Pareto principle. It truly is remarkable how 80% of the important tasks get done by 20% of my team, and this book is part of that vital 20% of my life too now.

Most people confuse procrastination with laziness, but they are quite different. Laziness is an inactive process while procrastination is an active process. Procrastination involves choosing to do something less important instead of the crucial project while laziness is inactivity, inability to act or unwillingness to take action. Most procrastinators lead a busy life. They are always engaged in easy and enjoyable tasks as opposed to seemingly tough jobs that are more important or rewarding.

Story
Most people confuse procrastination with laziness, but they are quite different. Laziness is an inactive process while procrastination is an active process. Procrastination involves choosing to do something less important instead of the crucial project while laziness is inactivity, inability to act or unwillingness to take action. Most procrastinators lead a busy life. They are always engaged in easy and enjoyable tasks as opposed to seemingly tough jobs that are more important or rewarding.
